I found an injured wild bunny in the parking lot of Whole Foods. I couldn’t just leave him there suffering. I scooped him up and drove to this vet. I said I would pay for any care, whether he could be saved or euthanized. They refused to do anything. Sent me on my way.

Welcome to Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital, a dedicated pet hospital located at 359 Worcester St, Natick, MA 01760, USA. Serving the local community and surrounding areas, Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital falls under the platform category of Pet Hospitals, providing essential medical services and potentially offering related products to support the health and well-being of your animal companions. Understanding the significant role pets play in our lives, the team at Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital is committed to offering comprehensive and compassionate care to meet the diverse needs of their patients.
Creating a welcoming and comfortable environment is a priority at Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital. Based on a recent customer review, the office is described as clean, suggesting a commitment to hygiene and a pleasant atmosphere for both pets and their owners. A welcoming staff further contributes to a positive experience, helping to ease any anxiety associated with veterinary visits. The physical setting of a pet hospital is crucial in ensuring that pets feel safe and that owners feel confident in the care their animals are receiving.
As a pet hospital, Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital offers a range of veterinary services aimed at maintaining and improving the health of pets. While the specific services are not exhaustively listed in the provided information, standard offerings typically include routine wellness examinations. These check-ups are vital for preventative care, allowing veterinarians to assess your pet's overall health, administer necessary vaccinations to protect against common diseases, and discuss important aspects of pet care such as nutrition and parasite control (fleas, ticks, heartworms).
In addition to preventative care, Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital is equipped to address various medical needs that may arise. This includes diagnostic services to help identify the underlying causes of illness or injury. While the specifics of their diagnostic capabilities are not detailed, pet hospitals commonly offer in-house laboratory testing (such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams) and imaging services like digital radiography (X-rays) to aid in accurate diagnoses. These tools are essential for developing effective treatment plans.
The hospital also provides medical treatment for a wide spectrum of conditions. This can range from managing acute illnesses to providing ongoing care for chronic diseases. The expertise of the veterinary team is central to delivering effective medical care, ensuring that pets receive appropriate and timely treatment based on their individual needs. This may involve administering medications, providing supportive therapies, and offering guidance on managing your pet's health at home.
Surgical services are another important aspect of many pet hospitals. While the information does not specify the surgical procedures offered at Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital, common surgeries include spaying and neutering, which are recommended for the overall health and well-being of pets. Depending on the hospital's facilities and the expertise of their veterinarians, they may also offer a variety of soft tissue surgeries. It is advisable to contact the hospital directly for detailed information on their surgical capabilities.
A notable feature highlighted in a customer review is the provision of a written summary of the visit, including follow-up recommendations. This demonstrates a commitment to clear communication and ensures that pet owners have a comprehensive understanding of their pet's health status and the next steps in their care. Such proactive communication fosters trust and allows owners to be actively involved in their pet's healthcare journey.
However, it is important to consider all feedback. One customer shared a negative experience regarding an injured wild bunny found in a parking lot. According to the review, the hospital declined to provide any care, even with the customer offering to pay for treatment or euthanasia. This suggests a potential limitation in the scope of their services or a specific policy regarding wildlife. While this may not reflect their standard approach to domestic pets, it is an important piece of information from a customer experience.
Considering the available information, Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital appears to be a facility focused on providing care for domestic pets, as indicated by the positive first experience of a dog owner. The clean environment, welcoming staff, and the practice of providing written summaries with follow-up recommendations are positive attributes. However, the instance involving the injured wild animal suggests that their services may be specifically geared towards companion animals.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided text. Pet hospitals may occasionally offer special promotions for certain services or have wellness plans designed to make routine care more affordable. To learn about any potential promotions or wellness programs at Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital, it is best to contact them directly at (508) 653-3420.
In conclusion, Wellesley Natick Veterinary Hospital in Natick, MA, offers veterinary services for pets in a clean and welcoming environment, with a focus on clear communication and follow-up care. May 17, 2025 · Kerrie QueenWonderful first experience for my dog. Clean office and a welcoming staff. I appreciate the written summary of our visit including follow up recommendations. I will definitely continue to use this office for my dog
Jan 26, 2025 · Joan StreeterThis clinic has been sold to a corporation and you get no customer support ~ the staff changes every other week and so do the vets. These reviews are for the previous owners so don’t be fooled and I do not recommend this place. I have called 3 times this week alone and no call back and I have emailed too!!! Nope not good.
Apr 25, 2025 · Suz Cstaff was very kind and loving towards my cat. they were transparent about pricing and followed up with test results the next day. would recommend, plus free churus for the kitties and snacks and water for humans.
Feb 02, 2024 · Janisse RamirezThe staff are friendly, but I am very disappointed that they give my dog 1-year rabies vaccine instead of the 3-year normal one without asking me. My dog has been on the 3-year one for years. This certainly adds cost and inconvenience to me.
