A 5-star experience for sure: This was my first vet visit with my first dog, Buddha, and staff made us feel so comfortable and welcome! The veterinarian and vet tech answered all of my questions, gave us good advice - they even gave Buddha a goodie bag with treats and a toy! (pictured below). Quick and easy to make an appointment. The veterinarian complimented my dog several times and made us feel so special. I would recommend Wealthy Street Animal Hospital to anybody needing pet care specialists.

Sep 21, 2024 · DWould recommend Wealthy Street Animal Hospital over and over. We have always been treated with respect and no question is too small of a question. Our pup LOVES going to see everyone. They are kind and careful with handling our animals. Very fair priced for the quality service.
Apr 14, 2025 · Kate LokkerI love the Wealthy Street Animal Hospital! Dr.Privette is absolutely amazing with both of my dogs & kitty. We have been seeing Dr.Privette on a regular basis for over six years now since we moved to Grand Rapids & have never been less than extremely satisfied with the care she provides to me & my animals. One of my dogs is extremely anxious & Dr.Privette always goes above & beyond to ensure the comfort of my dog. They also have another location, the Wyoming Animal Hospital which has been very helpful for a couple of last minute appointments I have had to schedule over the years. Thank you Doctor Privette! ♥ Adonis, Sinoda & Jabari
Jan 13, 2024 · Trisha OlreeI only have the best things to say about Wealthy Street. They always take amazing care of my pug! She loves everyone at the hospital and I am so grateful for their kindness. When my pug had a mast cell tumor, they were able to offer a solution that most veterinarian offices don’t provide. They were able to remove the tumor without surgery and she has since recovered - tumor free and happy as ever. 😊
Feb 23, 2024 · Kaley ShaheenI was a client at this veterinary office for almost 8 years. I originally chose them because I wanted a place that would love my dogs as much as I do. Over time, I noticed that the customer service felt performative—what some call “West Michigan Nice.” I expressed in a survey that I wished for more authenticity and genuine service. The office manager followed up with me, asking for examples, which I provided. Shortly after, I was told they had decided to part ways with no prior warning or explanation. Instead of a conversation about any supposed concerns with me as a client, they sent their lawyer to inform me that my relationship was being terminated—not because of the survey, but due to a “pattern of interactions” over the years. This was the first time I had ever been told anything like that. If there were actual concerns about me as a client, why was I never given a warning in nearly 8 years? The lawyer also stated they would not refund me for my Vaccines for Life program unless I signed a non-disparagement agreement, which I refused. Reading through my dog’s medical records after being terminated, I discovered comments about me that I had never been made aware of. It felt as though they had been secretly building a case against me while still taking my money for years. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and disheartened. I entrusted them with my beloved dogs, particularly my pup with Addison’s disease, and never expected such cold treatment from a place that claims to be compassionate. Additionally, after my survey response, they changed their survey format to no longer ask, “What could we do to be more satisfactory?” Instead, they now only ask for rating scales—further proving that they only wanted feedback that made them feel good, not feedback that would actually help them improve. I wanted to work this out with them because my dogs received good medical care, but at the end of the day, I realized this wasn’t the place for me or them. I don’t recommend this clinic to others for these reasons. This review reflects my personal experiences and opinions.
