Wayside Animal Hospital

My dog, Holly Berry, has an enlarged heart and has been very sick in the past. During that time, we saw Dr Lewis. I saw him 1/14/25 with the beginning of many of the same symptoms as last May when she was so sick. On 2/18 and Holly hadn’t improved, I called for an appointment. Dr Lewis was out for the week, so I got an appointment with Dr Boone. I was uneasy, because Dr Lewis is so familiar with Holly’s issues. Dr Boone was wonderful. She had reviewed the chart and was up to speed on Holly’s situation. She was so good with Holly. I felt very comfortable with her right away. I would highly recommend Dr Boone and Dr Lewis.

The staff is always polite on the phone and listen to me ramble on about my fur babies. They also work hard to accommodate urgent appointments. Once you are in the office, everyone loves my pets. I have been at vet offices where that is not true.

I have only had positive experiences with this office. The staff is kind and caring. I feel encouraged and more knowledgeable as a pet owner when I leave. Thank you for helping build confidence in pet parents 😊

Yesterday, my Miniature Schnauzer, Tucker, had his first puppy visit. Dr. Skrobot was very kind and played with him to make him comfortable. Schnauzers can be very dramatic, and he did scream during his vaccines but was fine by the time he returned to the exam room. He was happy to see me but still friendly with Dr. Skrobot. She took time to listen to my questions and to make recommendations. I’ve been to both locations in Jasper and have received excellent care from both locations. I know Tucker will receive the same great care as an adult dog at future visits.

My little elderly doggo and I had an amazing experience with the Wayside Jasper location yesterday. He tumbled off the couch. I was terrified that he could have internal injuries and/or broken something. He’s a small dog. I was in a panic. The team’s genuine concern for my dog aided in making our visit a calming experience. Dr Church is very knowledgeable across the board, including about my aging little baby’s needs. She took the time to explain everything clearly and with great compassion. I highly recommend Wayside Jasper!
