Waterloo Animal Hospital

Absolutely love Liz and Dwight. Have been going to WAH for many years and is the ONLY place I will take my cats (or dog when I have one). Staff is great, can't say enough good things about all of them.

I just got a call from them. An adopter had had a dog for a week and last night gave up and asked it be returned. Our contract reads we have 30 days to do that and I told them to have nowhere for this dog to go until I can make room. She said I guess we will just have to euthanize him. A 12 month old sweet dog with zero aggression because am owner will not hold for the contractual time. I told them if you euthanized a healthy dog I will absolutely report your license. She said how will you know and hung up. Please avoid this place like the plague. Any vet who does this is a murder not a pet love and certain not pro rescue. I am still in shock that this is how an office operates. I've started a complaint with the Illinois department of professional relations already.

We decided to take our cat who had been suffering, for a second opinion to Waterloo Animal Hospital after hearing good things. Although it was not the outcome we wanted, our beautiful cat had to be euthanized, we are still so grateful for the honesty and care that was given. We love our cats more than anything and the fact that they took the time to make us feel comfortable, didn’t charge us exorbitantly, and cared was just the most incredible thing. We have decided to transition from our previous vet who prolonged things and charged us exponentially. Thank you so much Dr. Stephanie Morgan and everyone at Waterloo animal hospital. We really appreciate everything.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Waterloo Animal Hospital. The front desk staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient….even when they’re swamped with patients. Dr Dwight is compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I trust them, completely, to care for my senior cat, Comet.

Can’t speak highly enough of this facility and the staff. I had an emergent situation with my cat whiskey and took him up there and they got him right in, examined him and performed imaging quickly to ensure he was safe. Dr. Cunningham was thorough and professional. Because of their prompt response and helpful staff and clinician, my whiskey is doing great! 10/10 recommend this place!
