I cannot express enough gratitude for the compassionate service we received from Wasatch Hollow Animal Hospital. On January 2nd, they came to our home to help us say goodbye to our beloved dogs. While this was an incredibly difficult moment for our family, the team made the experience as peaceful and respectful as it could be. From the moment they arrived, it was clear that they understood the emotional weight of the situation. Their kindness and professionalism provided us with comfort during such a heartbreaking time. They treated our ancient dogs with the utmost dignity and care, ensuring that both were at ease as we said our final goodbyes. What stood out the most was their non-judgmental approach. We were worried about the decision to let both dogs go at once, but they reassured us that we were doing what was best for our pets. Their understanding and support helped ease our hearts during this painful process. In addition to this experience, Wasatch Hollow Animal Hospital is our current vet for our two remaining dogs, and we continue to trust them with their care. I highly recommend them for their compassionate service. They truly made a sad situation manageable, and for that, we will always be grateful.

Have had to take my dog and cats here a couple times in the past couple years for urgent care visits and they are absolutely phenomenal at Wasatch Hollow. My first visit was when my cat, Aztec, was suddenly unable to pee one morning and was in distress so I brought him to Wasatch Hollow. They were able to diagnose him, medicate him, and prescribe a prescription food that has been a god send for his condition. The staff here has also been absolutely wonderful with my other cat and dog, they were so helpful when my Lola broke her dewclaw. They are always very sweet and I always fully trust them with my babies. Thank you!

I have brought my dogs to Wasatch Hollow for years, everyone there is so caring and compassionate, and so gentle with my baby girls. They are very thorough, and always make sure I understand everything clearly and that all avenues are explored in determining the needs and treatment of my dogs. I appreciate everyone at Wasatch Hollow, thank you so much for taking such good care of my girls!

Wasatch Hollow will let your pet die in their care if you don't pay their expensive rates fully up front. Wasatch Hollow is concerned with money, and not with the actual health and wellbeing of your pet. They will overstate and misdiagnose your animal, tell you that they are in need of very expensive urgent care, and that you must pay every penny up front before they will even take life-saving actions on your pet. In my case, they straight up lied about the condition of my dog, saying he was in danger of literally dying any moment, and that it would cost $1500 just for them to BEGIN saving his life, and if I don't pay they won't do anything. So yeah, they will let your pet die in their care if you aren't fully paid up. Luckily, they were full of crap and when I took my dog to a different vet I got an accurate diagnosis and a much more affordable care plan, where they only charged me for the services they actually provided, and not the entire 'estimated care plan' up front. The other vet was astounded when I shared with them the proposed treatment plan, they wondered aloud whether Wasatch Hollow was trying to scam me because my dog did not need most of the expensive tests they tried to sell me. My dog is fully recovered, healthy and doing wonderful, no thanks to Wasatch Hollow. Avoid at all costs, these people are con artists and liars. EDIT: I've just seen a very disconcerting reply from the owner. I am honestly not sure what to even say or think, because for one thing they seem to believe that I brought them a cat, perhaps they are confused and talking about a different former customer. I brought my dog in for treatment after an accident. My miniature schnauzer. But it's quite concerning that they are evidently trying to share a customer's private information in a public forum, accusing their customers of unacceptable behavior, and involving the police? This reply from the owner is quite unhinged, and it just reinforces my point that this is a place to avoid at all costs. Wow. Just Wow.

We have been going to Wasatch Hollow for almost 10 years. The care they initially offered our pets was top tier, and they were considerate of the owners and their time. Recently the waiting times have been 30+ minutes after the time you schedule, so prepare to spend a good chunk of time here. Last time we had issues with a wait time because one of my dogs needed a test done and could not receive it after our hour wait because, "It would no longer be accurate." Sad to see this clinic either growing quicker than they can handle and maybe focusing a little too much now on money. I will say to make it better they did a mobile visit to get the test done for our dog that did not receive the test he needed at that time but it still cost us a few hours at the vet waiting for nothing. Also, Lexi that works up front is one absolute sweetheart! She's the one you see always putting in an effort to accommodate people the best that she can and you can ALWAYS see the love she has for your animals. She is the reason this review has an extra star. We think she's great!
