I have three cats. One of them got neutered a couple of months ago and and one of them got spayed today. The other is their baby who will be visiting again soon for shots and a neuter as well. I highly recommend this vet office. Dr. Brown is very knowledgeable and great with my babies. You can tell he's been doing this for a long time and he stays up to date on new advancements in medicine. He doesn't do anything unnecessary but he's very thorough, listens to your concerns, and takes the time to teach you about at home health checks, what he's doing and why, what's necessary at the time and may or may not be necessary later. The prices seem to be pretty reasonable for the quality as well. The ladies at the front desk and the vet techs are all great and you can you can tell everyone is there because they love animals. This isn't a huge money grabbing cooperation like I've dealt with in the past. Ten out of ten. I would say take your pets here anytime. My coworker and I have even bonded over how great this place is.

Jan 06, 2024 · Mikayla CantrellSome of the kindest, most caring, and compassionate animal lovers I've had the pleasure of having care for my dog. I have never left a visit from here feeling like we got inadequate care or feeling like we took any unnecessary steps. I highly recommend this vet office for any of your fur babies for any reason.
Feb 24, 2024 · Indi ChismDr.Brown and his team are incredible. The ladies upfront are so nice and helpful! I have been going to him for a few years now and he has always been so kind not only to me, but my pets as well. He has a great sense of humor which is a nice break from all the seriousness of a vet visit, and he also doesn’t do extra stuff you don’t need (like some other vets try to do). He has gone the extra mile for me and my pets countless times, even when it’s been inconvenient for him. There’s nothing better than a person who is passionate about what they do and someone who’s empathetic. He truly is the greatest vet I have encountered and I hope he chooses to never retire hahaha. I don’t know that I’d ever find another vet like him.
Sep 21, 2023 · Sarah SarfatiAs someone who used Dr. Brown for 15 years, it is time for him to retire. His office has gone downhill in the past few years. My dogs were not getting the proper care and you will never get a diagnosis from Dr. Brown and end up going to an emergency hospital anyway. He is not equipped to handle aftercare so your dog will have surgery on Tuesday and he's closed on Wednesday They put a chip in incorrectly in my puppy. They told me they had chipped one of my other dogs but when I brought him to a new vet they told me there was no chip. He wouldn't give me a prescription he'd prescribed because he'd been "flagged" When I decided to leave his office and go to another practice I guess it took him a little time to realize it. I went to refill my epileptic dog's final prescription and he revoked it. Instead of calling me he called chewy and left me scrambling for his meds. That's how much they care At the end of the day I was able to fill the prescription with my new vet. But what a nasty thing to do to someone who's come to you for 15 years. And with 6 dogs. These are just a few examples of things I'd overlooked in the last 15 years. If you want to talk nonsense about a doctor across the river and someone else's dog, he's the vet for you.
Apr 25, 2024 · jorye617What makes WVVH is the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff there! My pup can be anxious and it's usually an ordeal to trim her nails -- the WVVH take a gentle approach, praising and comforting my dog rather than just getting things over with as quickly as possible. My dog had a tick in a thick patch of hair behind her ear and the team removed it easily and with no discomfort or shaving the area. There's never a rush out the door and each member of the team is knowledgeable and happy to answer questions or give suggestions. Dr. Brown is also my favorite type of vet: clearly an animal-lover who equally loves sharing information and resources. From Dr. Brown's bacon treats to the attention and kindness from each member of the team, my dog thinks WVVH is a spa just for her!
