My name is Alice and I had a 4 months old Ragamuffin kitten whom pass from FIP, I called just about everywhere for someone to do a necropsy on my baby and when Warrenton emailed me back and they explained everything to me I was so at ease. The staff is so professional and caring, plus they were so sympathy and I was so comfortable with them. I was a basket case and they just listen , and when I left my baby with them I just sit in the car and cried my heart out, but I was so relieved that I found them. If I every need that type of service again I know just whom to call, and I tell everyone that listens if you need to use their services you will feel so good about it. This was my first time using such a service…Oh today I received a package from them and it was a beautiful card and my baby (Djaxx) paw print, so tastefully done. I can’t thank them enough, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

While not a traditional general practice veterinary clinic, this facility plays a vital role in pet healthcare by offering diagnostic testing and post-mortem examinations.

Based on the available information, Warrenton Animal Health Lab offers critical services that may not be readily available at every general veterinary practice. The primary service highlighted in the testimonials is necropsy, a post-mortem examination performed to determine the cause of death. For pet owners experiencing the profound loss of a beloved animal, understanding the circumstances can provide closure and potentially valuable information, especially in cases of unexpected or sudden death. Warrenton Animal Health Lab appears to offer this service with a high degree of professionalism, care, and empathy.

The staff member who answered the phone was described as nice and efficiently transferred the call to a doctor. The doctor then provided detailed information about mange, explaining its causes in pups and dogs with low immune systems. Importantly, the doctor explained the sample collection process, including the fact that a skin scraping might cause slight bleeding, ensuring the pet owner had a clear understanding before proceeding. This interaction highlights the lab's commitment to clear communication and providing pet owners with the necessary information to make informed decisions about their pet's health.

The services offered by Warrenton Animal Health Lab are crucial for veterinary medicine. Called on the phone to ask if they take fur from dog to test for mange and the lady was nice and transferred me to doctor and she explained how pups and dogs with low immune system get it and said that I could bring in a sample but it's a skin scrapping and will make my pup bleed a little and gave me lots of information on mange.
