I was impressed with Wag Veterinary clinic. It has a spacious waiting area with plenty of seats, the whole facility was clean and the whole staff was delightful. My wife just loves Dr. Bejar (should I be jealous?). He is definitely a competent veterinarian and is friendly as well. He’s a good listener and really cares about animals.

I have a cat who is terrified of vets, gets car sick, and also has chronic pancreatitis now. We were able to get on with a mobile palliative care vet now who can come to the house for routine care, but for any sort of emergency, we'd still have to take him a fair distance, 25+ minutes, which flares up his symptoms terribly. Wag opened up their office 1/2 mile from my house. I called in March them because our cat REALLY needed fluids, and fast, and was very very flared up, but I really doubted they would be willing to help him as he wasn't a patient and he has his own vet. Most vets, in my experience, won't share duties or work hand in hand with another. Wag knew the mobile palliative care vet, think she's great, then they told me to bring him right over, they'd take care of him. I had him there in under five minutes, and left him there. Within an hour and a half, Dr Behar examined him so he could officially be a "patient"of theirs, and our cat was given subcutaneous fluids (which helped immensely in getting him over the hump and feeling better). He did not experience the terrible stress he normally does because the drive is literally 1 minute. They were willing to help in an emergency with an animal not yet in their system, even not being an official emergency clinic. The waiting room has a calming feel, the person i spoke to on the phone and who checked me in was wonderful, reassuring, and very helpful. Great experience all around! I am so, SO relieved to know that Wag is there, so close, should we need fluids for him again or have an emergency with him (or one of our other guys, whose regular vet is a 25 minute drive for us and we adore, but in a major emergency, time would be of the essence).

What a great vet office! I live in Colorado but was visiting family in Charlottesville for the holidays when my little Ernie inadvertently ate a Reese’s peanut butter cup 🤦🏻‍♀️. Called the Urgent Cares in the area & multiple vet offices but no one could see him. I sat on the line trying to get in touch with ASPCA pet poison control for over 30 minutes with no luck either. Was ready to just drive 40 minutes to the nearest doggie ER, when my sister in law called this vet office & they made time in their busy schedule to fit Ernie in which I could not be more thankful for! Thanks again!!!

Our dog absolutely loves coming to WAG! When we tried to find a good vet in the area, many places would not answer their phones or were unable to see us for days. I went off of the positive Google reviews and called WAG, they were able to get us in for a same day appointment! The women at reception are always so kind and accommodating. The Dr himself is wonderful. He is very intelligent and made a great connection with our dog. A few days after our appointment, he even called me directly to follow-up after asked how our dog was feeling. Very grateful to have found a friendly, reliable vet for our dog!

The entire staff were truly wonderful! I adopted Buzz from ASPCA last year in January and today was his first check-up. I was so nervous about how his appointment would go. To my relief, they were really caring and treated him like he was family. They are understanding, patient and willing to listen to concerns without judgment. When you want a family who cares about yours; Wag Veterinary is the place to go!
