I came to pick up my brother's dog from here(who got fixed) and my first impressions of this place was back yard vet, super sketchy, and complete choas. The place smelled terrible and was unsanitary and disgusting. The vet didn't say anything to me except give me the bill and that was it. And the poor dog was whining the whole drive back and all night, no medication or anything. The dogs stitches looked terrible and my brother had a terrible time with them initially when he dropped the dog off. Definitely would not recommend, the animals that come there deserve better.

Welcome to W W Vet House Calls Services

W W Vet House Calls Services, located at 10216 224th St E, Graham, WA 98338, USA, operates within the scope of a "Pet Hospital" and aims to provide veterinary care to the local community. While the name suggests a primary focus on house call services, the provided address indicates a physical location for operations. For pet owners in Graham and the surrounding areas, understanding the various aspects of this veterinary service is important when making informed decisions about their animal's healthcare.

The information available regarding the environment at W W Vet House Calls Services presents a challenging picture based on direct customer feedback. A recurring review describes the initial impression of the place as “back yard vet, super sketchy, and complete chaos.” Specific concerns about the physical environment include that the “place smelled terrible and was unsanitary and disgusting.” For any “Pet Hospital,” cleanliness and hygiene are paramount to ensure the health and safety of animals, prevent the spread of disease, and provide a professional and comfortable setting for pets and their owners. The review suggests that these fundamental environmental standards may not consistently be met, which could significantly impact the experience of both animals and their human companions. The description of a chaotic environment could imply disorganization in the waiting areas or treatment spaces, potentially adding to the stress of an animal visit. It is crucial for a veterinary facility to maintain a clean and orderly space to instill confidence and provide effective care.

The services offered by W W Vet House Calls Services, as a "Pet Hospital," would generally encompass routine veterinary care. The specific instance highlighted in the review involves a dog that “got fixed” (referring to a spay or neuter procedure). This indicates that the facility performs surgical services. Typically, a "Pet Hospital" offers a range of services, including:

  • Surgical Procedures: As evidenced by the spaying/neutering procedure mentioned, the facility provides surgical services, which are a core component of veterinary care.
  • General Veterinary Care: This would generally include examinations, diagnosis of common ailments, and basic medical treatments.
  • Post-Operative Care: While the review noted a lack of medication and comfort for the dog post-surgery, the provision of surgical services implies the necessity of post-operative care, even if that care was perceived as insufficient in this instance.

However, the customer feedback raises significant concerns regarding the quality of care and communication related to these services. The review states that the dog was “whining the whole drive back and all night, no medication or anything,” and that the “dogs stitches looked terrible.” This suggests a potential inadequacy in pain management and post-surgical recovery protocols, which are critical aspects of animal welfare following a surgical procedure. In a professional "Pet Hospital," appropriate pain relief and clear post-operative instructions are standard practices to ensure the animal’s comfort and proper healing.

The features of W W Vet House Calls Services, as gleaned from the customer feedback, appear to be largely negative in critical areas. A major concern highlighted is the apparent lack of communication from the veterinarian. The reviewer explicitly stated, “The vet didn't say anything to me except give me the bill and that was it.” Effective and empathetic communication between veterinary staff and pet owners is paramount for a positive experience and informed decision-making regarding a pet's health. This includes providing detailed information about the procedure, post-operative care instructions, potential complications, and pain management strategies. The absence of such communication is a significant concern for client satisfaction and animal well-being.

Furthermore, the reviewer described an initial “terrible time” when their brother dropped the dog off, suggesting issues with the intake process or initial interactions with the staff. The overall impression conveyed is one of a chaotic and unsupportive environment for both the animals and their owners. The strong recommendation of “Definitely would not recommend, the animals that come there deserve better” summarizes the profound dissatisfaction with the overall experience, focusing on the welfare of the animals.

For promotional information, it is important for potential clients considering W W Vet House Calls Services to be fully aware of the public feedback available. While the name suggests the convenience of house calls, the provided reviews primarily focus on the physical facility and the quality of care experienced during a surgical procedure. Concerns regarding the environment, cleanliness, communication, and post-operative comfort for pets have been explicitly raised by a customer. Pet owners in Graham, WA, seeking veterinary care should carefully weigh these points when deciding on a "Pet Hospital" for their animal companions. It is always advisable to conduct thorough research, ask specific questions about facilities and procedures, and consider multiple sources of information before entrusting your pet’s health to any veterinary service. You can contact W W Vet House Calls Services by phone at (360) 893-4262 or via mobile at +1 360-893-4262 for more information.

BE AWARE!!!! August 12th I called Shannon to make an appointment to neuter my dog and she set me up with an appointment for yesterday September 27th 2024 at 8:30 am. I was referred to her because of her cheap prices. I drive an hour and a half to get to her address which was not described on her actual google business description. I had to call a friend that referred me to her to find it. She also never returned any of my phone calls or text after setting up my original appointment including the morning of. When did arrive to her address I pulled up to what is actually a spare room to her house. I was greeted by a woman with a strong accent who was concerned about what I was doing there. I explained to her to that I had an appointment with Shannon for my dog. She said that’s not possible because Shannon would never make an appointment that early there usual appointments start at 930. Another woman heavy set came out of the office with an aggressive attitude about them being booked out for today. I explained where I had driven from, taking the day off work, and that I had waiting over a month and a half for this appointment. She asked me to go grab a coffee and they would contact the doctor and reach back out to me and assured me that they would take care of the situation. Over an hour had passed by before I drove myself back to the location because of course Dr was still not answering her phone. I pulled up to all three of them including the vet in the office just laughing having a good time. Not concerned at all about my time I invested in that day. I knocked on the door to the office and a few minutes later the heavy set woman walked out to tell me they will take my dog and it will be a short surgery and they will let me know as soon as he’s off the table. And she asked if I will stay in town to about 1pm when he’s fully off anesthesia. I told them yes I will wait. While I was filling out his information Shannon popped up and her greeting to me was “if I had known you lived so far I wouldn’t have let you come here because you live to far for this to be your primary vet” I assured her I wouldn’t be making it mine. I received a call at 1245 with them letting me know that they just started “cutting him open” as she put it and that I won’t be able to get him until about 4-5 pm because the anesthesia. Mind you i could hear my dog yelling in the background. I told them that I had meetings today later this evening and that they are handling this situation completely unprofessionally. This is when I found out that these ladies actually had me on speaker phone as all three of them chirped in the conversation, saying things like I should have planned my day better for this… sorry but I had a 830am appointment and they had completely dropped the ball but yes let’s blame the customer. This building is disgusting and there’s no way it is safe for surgery. When I had walked in they had a old stained towel up on the table I’m sure filled with bacteria. It stunk in there with dog piss even though I was the first person to arrive that morning. Don’t be fooled by this clinic greeting you at the walkway and taking your dog. My dogs been in extreme pain, this is how the post op conversation went, oh wait it didn’t. No meds, no cone, no after care, no explanation of what’s best to do with him, what need to look out for. Nothing at all. His would is extremely swollen, I’m more than likely going to have to take him to another visit to make sure he doesn’t get an infection. I will be calling the health department and the bbb. I suggest you certainly find another vet if you love your animals.
