I am so happy with Dr Goldhammer's approach to treatment. Rather than have us do all the diagnostic tests up front and risk spending hundreds of dollars, she chooses to do things incrementally and starting with things I can modify through diet or over the counter medicine or supplements. My dog might be an exception because while she is definitely sick, she is not critical so I am sure that makes a difference but her common sense approach is so refreshing. She also makes all the follow up phone calls herself. She does not have the technician call. I love that I can ask questions and not have to wait for the tech to find the answers and call me back. I am very happy with the care we are receiving. The prices are very fair for the services received. She accepts United Pet Care but does not accept Care Credit. The staff are very nice. The office is clean. I would highly recommend Village Animal Clinic.

Jul 12, 2024 · Stephanie WilsonWe have taken our dog, Pluto, here for about 3 years and have greatly enjoyed the small-town vet feel, the knowledge of the staff and doctor, and the competitive pricing. I typically am able to get Pluto an appointment to be seen quickly and they are very communicative with results. Thank you all for treating my dog with such love!
Nov 27, 2023 · Taylor O’HaraThis is my first time here for my Sadie Roze up-dated shots, and I'm so pleased with the Doctor. For years I took my pet Onyx to another vet and because they neglected to overlook my baby's blood work, I will never return. They lost a good paying customer, I'm afraid they will screw up with Sadie, and I don't want to lose her, like I did Onyx over their negligence
Oct 08, 2024 · Gloria Garza MoonVery disappointed with this clinic along with office staff. Monday May 9th our kitten Opal had a follow up appointment at 5 weeks old. We took her in previously at 2.5 weeks old and aside from a little eye infection that was treated and cleared up she was thriving by her last visit on the 9th. We had never taken care of a kitten this young before and the Dr assured us she was doing well and was healthy. She also administered her first shots at 5 weeks old. At the time I was not aware that Opal was far to young for any shots let alone the vaccines she received at this clinic. By Wed afternoon on the 11th she became lethargic and very ill. We sought help at an emergency clinic as this office was closed. At the ER clinic I was then informed that she was to young for any vaccinations, we did test her for worms again to make sure that was not the culprit. We started her on antibiotics, and fluids for her respiratory issues and her fight for life began. Sadly she could not recover from her vaccinations that she received on the 9th and passed away after 13 days of putting up a good fight and multiple visits to the ER clinic. I seriously recommend going to another clinic that sticks to the vaccine guidelines, as this clinic did not, and our family lost our fur baby. When I called to inform the office staff of her passing and the reasoning behind it, she told me that's not possible and was incredibly rude to me after just losing my baby I had been taking care of for the past 6 weeks around the clock. I provided photos for proof of health from one day to the next. She went from mid pounce to barely holding her head up. Do better.
May 26, 2022 · Danielle LeeMy wife and I wanted to thank you so much for taking such great care and love of our "baby" bloodhound Peaches. She will be missed forever. We are grateful she had such wonderful compassionate and exceptional care, every visit and surgery. Photos from her from 12 years ago will cheer anyone up ❤ 🐕
