Autoship orders don't ship. No contact from company as to why. They use FEDEX, a company notorious for lying about actually delivering packages. So it's a hit or miss if I actually get my order because FedEx will drop it at the wrong house and lie. Not too impressed with this company as a whole. Only good thing I can say is when FedEx messes up they will reship the product, at their own cost so apparently it must be cheaper for them to do that then work with a reputable company.

Welcome to Vetsource Practice Support
Vetsource Practice Support, located at 17014 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97230, USA, and reachable at (877) 738-8883 or +1 877-738-8883, operates as an online pharmacy service that appears to primarily focus on fulfilling prescriptions for pet medications and delivering them directly to pet owners. While it functions within the broader ecosystem that supports pet health, it does not seem to be a physical "Pet Hospital" where one would typically bring their animal for examinations, treatments, or to purchase over-the-counter pet supplies in person. Instead, it acts as a mail-order pharmacy service that partners with veterinary practices to provide medications to their clients.
Given that Vetsource Practice Support is an online pharmacy, the concept of a physical "environment" in the same way as a brick-and-mortar clinic is not directly applicable. Their operational environment would encompass their order processing systems, their relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers, their warehousing and packaging facilities, and their logistics and shipping arrangements. Based on the customer reviews, it is in this latter aspect – logistics and shipping – where significant issues have been reported.
The primary service offered by Vetsource Practice Support is the fulfillment and delivery of prescription pet medications. This likely includes a range of pharmaceuticals for various animal health needs, such as pain management, antibiotics, heartworm preventatives, flea and tick treatments, and medications for chronic conditions. They also seem to offer an "autoship" service, intended for regular delivery of recurring medications, although at least one review indicates problems with the reliability of this feature.
The features of Vetsource Practice Support, as can be gleaned from the limited and largely negative customer feedback, include:
- Online ordering of prescription pet medications, presumably initiated through a veterinarian's approval.
- A potential "autoship" program for regular medication refills (though its reliability is questioned).
- Shipping of medications directly to the customer's address, utilizing courier services such as FedEx and potentially UPS.
- A customer service department that can be contacted regarding order issues, although responsiveness and effectiveness have been criticized.
One notable point from a review is that when a shipping error occurred (attributed to FedEx), Vetsource Practice Support did reship the product at their own cost. This suggests a willingness to rectify shipping mistakes, even if the choice of courier is a point of contention for some customers.
The customer reviews provide critical insights into the operational aspects and potential drawbacks of using Vetsource Practice Support:
- Shipping Reliability: Multiple reviews express significant dissatisfaction with the shipping process, particularly when FedEx is used as the courier. Complaints include packages being delivered to the wrong address and the courier allegedly falsifying delivery records. This unreliability in shipping is a major concern raised by customers.
- Autoship Issues: One customer reported that their autoship orders were not being shipped, and there was a lack of communication from the company regarding the reasons for the delay. This undermines the convenience that an autoship service is intended to provide.
- Order Fulfillment and Communication: Another customer detailed a negative experience involving a delayed expedited order for pain medication. They reported a lack of response from customer service and discrepancies between the tracking information and the actual location of the package. The order, placed on a Monday with 2-day shipping, was not expected to arrive until the following Friday, indicating a significant failure in fulfilling the promised delivery timeframe.
- Customer Service: The delayed expedited order incident also points to potential issues with customer service responsiveness and the accuracy of information provided to customers. The initial lack of tracking updates and the delay in the order's arrival highlight shortcomings in their communication and logistical processes.
Currently, there is no information provided regarding any promotional offers or specific goods for sale other than prescription medications. The focus of the reviews is entirely on the process of ordering and receiving these medications.
In conclusion, Vetsource Practice Support operates as an online pharmacy service for pet medications, facilitating the delivery of prescribed drugs to pet owners. While the concept offers convenience, the available customer reviews paint a concerning picture regarding the reliability of their shipping, particularly when using FedEx. Issues with autoship orders, delays in expedited shipping, and challenges with customer service responsiveness have also been reported. While the company has been noted to reship products in cases of shipping errors, the overall sentiment from the provided reviews suggests significant shortcomings in their logistics and customer communication. For local users considering this service, it would be prudent to be aware of these potential issues and perhaps explore alternative options for fulfilling their pet's prescription medication needs, especially if timely and reliable delivery is critical. The strong recommendation from one customer to obtain a written prescription from their vet and use a different company underscores the severity of the negative experiences reported.

Feb 15, 2025 · SunflowerI purchased meds to help with my Dog's pain and paid to expedite it.. 3 days later, there was no response from customer service, and UPS said they didn't even have the package in their possession. Vet Source's site says it is still expected to be delivered.. 2 days ago. If you can, just ask your Vet for a written prescription, and send it to ANY other company. I guarantee it will be faster than Vet Source. Update: Its now Friday, after placing my order on Monday it has finally updated its shipping information, and isn't expected to arrive till next Friday, 11 days from when I ordered with 2 day shipping
Dec 20, 2024 · Adrick KolokythasHad to call 2x so far. Meds didn’t arrive at the time stated at purchase time so I called them. They sent meds to wrong address. They “sent” the meds out that day. Then I get an email the following morning saying they denied the order bc of my dogs weight and then going to resend. Still don’t have meds for my dog and don’t have much confidence in this company. I recommend doing business elsewhere.
Feb 11, 2025 · sMy cat's meds went missing in shipping and a replacement with expedited shipping was fully covered by Vetsource. Great customer service on the phone as well, calm, kind, and the whole process took 10 minutes.
Jan 30, 2025 · Jade Jones-HawkThis appears to be a front for the Hotel California - your vet will check you in but you can NEVER LEAVE. You will be CONSTANTLY BOMBARDED with countless emails telling you to buy things you neither need nor want. The obligatory "unsubscribe" button does nothing but ensure a larger volume of email abuse. PS if you call to try to get your name removed they REFUSE unless you give them your address too - no thanks!
