As you can imagine, bringing my dog in for surgery was nerve-wracking. However, my experience with Veterinary Surgical Specialists was truly outstanding. Their communication was excellent – the surgeon, Dr. Sebestyen, clearly explained every step, patiently answered all my questions about the procedure, and kept me informed throughout. This transparency was incredibly reassuring. Beyond their expertise, the team showed remarkable empathy. They understood how much my baby Texy means to me and treated him, and me, with genuine kindness and respect. Their gentle approach and understanding words provided immense comfort during a stressful time. The patience of the entire staff was also noteworthy. They never rushed explanations and were always willing to address any concerns I had, even after the surgery. This created a supportive and calm environment. The surgery was a success, and I attribute much of my dog's positive outcome to the exceptional care he received. Our fur baby's diagnosis came us a huge shock to us. Dr. Cambridge and his team made sure that she received the care she needed quickly, that we had all the information, he was very good at managing our expectations while not giving up on her, and celebrating the wins as they came. Dr. Cambridge and his team were responsive, attentive, understanding and caring. Our Chanel is thriving thanks to them, and that means the world to us. The entire staff that we came in contact with were amazing. We don't have enough words to express our gratitude. Dr. Cambridge stands out for his commitment, knowledge and keeping a sense of humor on a delicate situation. We appreciate how well he tried to manage our expectations while also celebrating Chanel's recovery. Thank you also to the nurses and techs that answered all my texts when Chanel was in surgery/ overnight care. We so appreciate your patience and empathy. We can't say enough good things about everyone who cared for our fur baby:) The level of care, knowledge, empathy, availability , and how quickly we were seen, presented with options, and received necessary care.

The team were absolutely amazing from our first appointment, through surgery to having his stitches out after three weeks.
