Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Care South - Open 24 Hours

This was really hard to write, as I’m still grieving the loss of my sweet boy, Midas. I had to unfortunately bring my dog in for end of life services on 8/13. From the beginning to the end, all the staff was truly amazing. I appreciate all the support, kindness, and compassion that was shown. No one wants to make this type of decision, but I’m truly happy we chose to go here. Midas was the best dog ever, and I’m glad that we got to spend as much time as we could with him. We chose a communal cremation, and received a ceramic paw print, some ink cards with Midas’ paw prints on them, and a vile of fur clippings. A couple weeks later we received such a thoughtful card from all the staff. I was truly touched. Thank you again for making the worst day of my life the best experience it could be.

Our Luna was very sick and when we went to Veterinary Specialty and ER care we found out her condition was life threatening. Everyone there was very nice and talked out everything that could be done to save Luna. Luna had the life saving surgery within a few hours. Luna stayed over night. When the surgery was over the doctor called us with an update. We called them a couple times also and every time they were very nice and gave us an update; they are open 24/7 so you can call anytime. Luna was able to come home the next day. Everyone took wonderful care of Luna. Everyone there cares for their fury clients! 10/10

We had to take our Sophie girl here because she had complications with a puppy, and needed an emergency c-section. Dr. Noble a new graduate came in to talk to us about everything that would happen. She explained everything in a very detailed manner. She took Sophie back to have tests ran on her. Once tests were back she came back and explained what those test results meant and gave us our options that would be best for our dog. We all agreed a c-section was in her best interest. Dr. Noble even offered us to go see sophie before they took her back for surgery. That right there meant so much to me. Unfortunately the puppy didn’t make it but that was in no way their fault. Amy the girl sitting up front kept checking on Sophie and kept giving us updates on how she was doing. You could tell the staff really cared. After surgery Dr. Noble came out went over everything and asked if we had any questions. Then Dr. Kirch came out and asked us if we had any questions and told us everything went well with Sophie and how well she did. Brittany a technician came out and went over discharge papers and medicine for Sophie. She even offered to help us to the car with Sophie and her pups. Sophie had 4 healthy puppies at home, and the team offered to keep the puppies warm for us while Sophie was in surgery. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Sophie ended up getting sick on her blankets so they gave her a new one to go home with, which I think loves more than her own lol. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of my baby.

These guys are wonderful. They helped us in one of our darkest most dread times. After we had to let go of our fur baby. They continued to be there for us they sent us a sympathy card in the mail they explained the process very clear to us they allowed us as a family to be with her during this time. We choose cremation and we had our baby back in less than 3 weeks. We love this vet they are amazing and truly amazing people work there. We would highly recommend them for anyone. They care so deeply which is very hard to find now days. Thank you to the staff at veterinary specialty & Emergency care south for all the compassionate you have shown to our family!

First time going to Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Care South. Everyone were Caring, Respectful, Kind & concerned. Within 5mins when we our miniature Doxin was taken back cause of condition our baby was in. THEY WERE AWESOME. My husband is a Vietnam Navy Veteran and on SSA, AND I'M ON.SSDI. THE CHARGES WERE AT A PRICE WE COULD AFFORD. WE WERE ABLE TO GET OUR BABY THE Emergency CARE. I was going through all of our credit cards to see if we had enough funds to pay for his Emergency care. My husband and I have decided we would be using Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Care South. With being on SSA & SSDI we were able to afford Emergency Care.
