Dr. Born, Liz, and team are ROCKSTARS!! They helped make the decision to amputate on my sweet Awesome (not just Great…) Dane, the best decision we could have made. When most questioned our path, I was comforted knowing he is in exceptional hands with this team. He’s thriving in a way that I couldn’t have foreseen without their expert guidance and support. I can’t say enough wonderful things about VRSP. My dog, Ruby, was recently diagnosed with a high grade fibrosarcoma. Although they couldn’t resect the tumor, Dr. Little and his team helped me make the best decision for Ruby. He’s very knowledgeable, to the point and has your dogs best interest at heart. Ruby is now 3-weeks post amputation and doing great! Liz and Mallory always put me at ease. I felt very comfortable leaving Ruby in their caring hands. She’s a very timid dog and I could tell Ruby felt comfortable with them, too! Throughout the whole process, I felt supported. The communication before, during and after surgery was stellar, too!

My wife’s dog was struggling to walk on both back legs. They kept giving out resulting in her walking like a crab. Our vet referred us to them for surgery. They are an awesome group of people to work with. My wife was crying the day of the surgery because how small Bella is and because she is like a kid to us. They answered all of the questions she and I had and fit her in quickly. They even sent a get well soon card. I was very surprised to see how minimal the incision site was and how neat and clean it was. Now we get to go back in a few weeks to do her other leg. I highly recommend them to take care of your animals.

What an experience we had with our boy getting his large soft tissue sarcoma removed. Our Great Dane Bunker had quite the healing process after a successful surgery—he reopened his wound multiple times, leaked so much lymphatic fluid from the surgical site, got multiple infections from licking the wound, but now he’s finally all healed and doing well. All that to say that Dr. Little and his team were extremely supportive, responsive, and sympathetic to everything we went through with our boy. With all of the issues we experienced, Dr. Little made thoughtful and reasonable decisions that have ultimately led to our healed boy. We are heading to the beach to celebrate Bunker’s recovery next week, and I just wanted to thank Dr. Little & his team for everything they did to get my boy to where he is today!
