Veterinary Medical Center

This place is horrific. I live next to it and I hear the distressed barking of dogs all day and night. It is heartbreaking. The dogs are kept in cages outside, isolated. No matter the weather conditions they are outside in cages. They are clearly stressed and suffering. The barking is nonstop and they sound so desperate and tormented. I can hear fights between the dogs. It sounds very aggressive. The dogs barking excessively because they are so distressed. It’s obvious they are not receiving the care, attention, or comfort they need. Would you leave your dog outside in a cage on concrete and ignore it while it miserably barks for over an hour straight? No animal should be treated this way, especially in a place that is supposed to care for them. The level of neglect is appalling, and I can only imagine how stressed out the dogs are here. If you love your pet, I strongly urge you to take them elsewhere. My neighbors and I are deeply alarmed by the nonstop barking from the dogs here. It is incredibly disturbing to hear the distressed cries of dogs nonstop, and it’s clear that management does not care about the welfare of the dogs here or how this affects the residents in the surrounding area.

VMC worked us into their schedule in an emergency situation and immediately accepted our kitty RAOUL and began treatment. The doctors are kind and knowledgeable and helped RAOUL to feel better right away. They taught us how to improve our care for our senior boy at home and worked a program of treatment that we can afford and carry forward. We’re grateful and committed to VMC, thanks to all the staff.
