Veterinary House Calls

I’ve had many pets over the years, but one of my cats developed such severe anxiety that he could no longer handle going into the office for care. My former vet recommended I seek out a mobile vet for ongoing care, and that’s how I discovered Dr. Switch. She’s been an incredible vet for my “spicy” (as she affectionately calls them) cats for years. Recently, one of my cats fell critically ill, and Dr. Switch spent hours at my home late into the evening, doing everything she could to save him. And she was successful until several days later when he had a seizure. She was always available to answer my messages and calls, providing the most compassionate and skilled care I’ve ever witnessed. Dr. Switch went above and beyond in every way. I’m also so grateful to her wonderful staff, especially Robin, who met me on the weekend, during her time off, to provide medication for my cat. It’s rare to find this level of service these days. This practice truly is the best!

Dr. Switch has cared for our numerous cats for the past 30 years. She is not only brilliant, but kind and compassionate. She came to my house on a Sunday to euthanize a sick cat. She is the best!

Trying to force my cat into his carrier for his vet appointment would have amplified his injury, and since vets aren't allowed to prescribe sedatives until the animal is seen by them, I was terribly concerned on what to do. I found VHC on the Internet and they arrived at my home the next available day and were simply AMAZING! Dr. Emily and her assistant were very professional and so so caring. They are both knowledgeable and authentic. They gave me a prescription to calm him down to get in his carrier for a procedure done in office the next day. (Everyone at the clinic was lovely as well) Andrew was playful and back to his normal self within 24 hours. They called to check in on him and made themselves available to answer any questions or concerns and kept me well informed during the entire process. Definitely worth the 25 minute drive and I highly recommend their care. The only negative I experienced was a hint of judgement for allowing him the freedom to be indoor/outdoor (that is what caused his injury in the first place) but I know they were coming from.a loving and protective place. Our differing views on that topic did not effect the level of care he was given.

We had an emergency with our dog and they were able to come out and help us. Very caring and knowledgeable. I absolutely would recommend Dr Emily. Thank you so much for helping us with our dog Roo ❤️
