Veterinary Health Center

It was a “ruff” day at the vet. But Dr. Tina & the team took such wonderful care of us. Jake was so comfortable here, which made me comfortable. Great people who care about animals and their parents. 🖤🐕‍🦺🐾

The Veterinarians here are very professional, but the general staff (apart from a few) is sadly the absolute worst I've ever seen! Don't fall for the "fake nice" attitude from the office employees. I witnessed them making fun of/insulting clients behind their backs! It was the large older woman with the glasses that engaged in it the most, swearing and calling a client names after hanging up a call. The office manager with the short black hair is absolutely horrid as well! I would only assist a relative on his appointments, and I just can't imagine being an actual client here. Why upper management hasn't fired these women, I don't know! I don't normally leave reviews... but the behavior was just so disturbing. Take your business elsewhere, unless you enjoy giving your money to terrible people.

This place is A JOKE!!! If u make appt no matter if it’s a routinely monthly shot it takes an hour for appointments where they have to be seen. You might as well cancel your whole day. They act like they have never experienced a dog that doesn’t like to be touched my American bully is a rescue and we spend a lot of money at those places and they aren’t even equipped to handle bigger dogs. They had me over sedate my dog so badly she couldn’t even walk. The next time they wanted me to sedate her I gave her half of what they said and my dog was perfect and did amazing in appt. They always pack like 4 people in to come try and handle my nervous dog. They just are very unprofessional and plain rude! My other dogs go to a different vet Iv never waited an hour to even have someone acknowledge me and when I take my dog in for her monthly pain shot it takes five minutes, but when I take my American bully to Center Rd., Vet I’m there an hour hour and a half easy my best advice stay away!!!!!!!!

Thank goodness I found thee best veterinary office around!! Unfortunately I’ve had less than acceptable experience with vet offices in the past. We cannot say enough positive things about Veterinary Health Center! From the moment we walked in, our cat Ernie was completely at ease and so was I. The atmosphere of the office is more than welcoming, and the staff is very friendly and wonderful. The Doc was caring, informative, sweet and patient. I immediately made my second cat’s appointment here, because as long as we are in the area, this is going to be our permanent home for our pet’s veterinary care. So, so, so happy & delighted with finding this amazing office!! They also have some great hand-crafted cat toys, that I treated my guy to after being such a good boy for the Doc and Tech. He’s been “bunny-kickin’-crazy with it!

WOW! Cat owners look no further!!!! So impressed with Dr Tina and Vet Health Center vet Clinic! I'm traveling and my cat needed to be seen. I didn't know, when I made the appointment that this was a "Cat-friendly" and an AAFP nationally accredited clinic. Nor did I know the significant difference a cat friendly clinic really makes! The clinic is divided. Doggies, go right. Kitties turn left and let the spa like indulgence begin! The waiting area actually looks like a human spa with warm calming colors, a fireplace, large screen tv streaming video of birds, fish and squirrels and best of all, no fowl doggie odor! None! When I walked into the exam room I was even more impressed. It was decorated nicely, floor to ceiling jungle gym, large window sills for kitty to perch upon and a calming spa like music! The tech was very nice and thorough but the real game changer came when Dr Tina entered the room! Bug (my cat) was stressed and was growling and hissing. Dr. Tina just sat on the floor, waited for him to come to her then gently proceeded with the exam on his terms and on the floor! No cold sterile exam table four feet off the floor! She was patient, kind and seemed very knowledgeable. I love that she presented an option for pain relief that was supplementally based opposed to steroids or drugs! The icing on the cake came when I inquired about updating his feline leukemia vacation and I was told that since he's not an outdoor cat and he doesn't board, that he doesn't need it! Not only is it putting unnecessary drugs into his little system but it's a waist of MY money! I've never run into that before!!! Dr Tina wears her emotions on her sleeve and those emotions reveal a pure and authentic love for animals! I would highly recommend this vet and clinic! The only downside for me is that I live 1,400 miles away and can't have her be my regular vet. The upside is, I now have a great reference point and I will no longer allow myself to settle for or subject my pets to substandard care! Thank you Dr. Tina and the staff at Vet Health Source.
