My sweet fur-baby Tater was a senior and nearing the end of his fifteen and a half years of life. I desperately wanted this time to be like the ones in the recent past where he pulled through. Unfortunately, his little body was just too tired and his heart was very weak. When I arrived at VEG, I was immediately met with love, comfort and extreme compassion. Dr. Wilde sat down beside me and gently discussed my options. She allowed me to take all the time I needed to prepare myself emotionally for my final good-bye. Everything was done at my comfort and with extreme care and empathy. The staff at VEG made a terrible circumstance into one of the most beautiful memories that I will cherish all the days of my life. Tater was given the opportunity to transition to heaven peacefully wrapped in my arms. Words can’t describe how thankful I am to have found such an amazing emergency vet near me. I HIGHLY recommend VEG and the most precious Veterinarian Dr. Wilde.

Dr. Dowell & Gabby took superb care & concern for my Chloe (Dyrty Byrd). These ladies not only made sure Chloe was okay but they also comforted me as a fur mom. You can tell they are genuine pet lovers! They made the unfortunate circumstances more accepting and I truly appreciate the understanding of my finances at the present moment.

Everyone at this facility, and I mean EVERYONE, is an angel sent from heaven. The nurses and doctors are all incredibly knowledgeable as well as comforting and compassionate, given that it’s never a good reason to rush your animal to an emergency vet. They are quick to take care of you and get down to business immediately, leaving you no time to stress and wonder when you will be seen. They work with you on billing and do their very best to not charge an egregious amount. Dr. Rusch and Justice, who was a nurse technician, tended to my English Springer Spaniel and my husband and I immediately felt like we were in good hands. This was our second visit with VEG (first visit with different doctor and a different nurse) and both times the staff were incredible. I hope we don’t have to come here ever again of course, but if we do I won’t go to any other animal ER. Take your pets here when needed!!!

Our experience at VEG Marietta was absolutely exceptional! From the very first phone call, Stacy was amazing—kind, welcoming, and so reassuring. She greeted us at the door with warmth and made sure we felt supported throughout our visit. Even as the team was tending to a critically ill dog, Stacy took the time to assure us that Lucy would receive the best care. Her genuine compassion and attentiveness truly stood out. Thank you, Stacy, for your sincere heart and for making us feel so cared for! Dr. Dowell and Dr. Jarrell were equally fantastic. Their ability to explain everything in a way that was both professional and easygoing helped put us at ease. We deeply appreciated their thoughtful communication and the way they made us feel truly seen and valued. A special thank you to Dr. Dowell for the exceptional work in retrieving the ribbon Lucy had swallowed—we are beyond grateful! And Amanda—she was absolutely WONDERFUL! Her kindness and attentiveness to Lucy during and after the procedure were remarkable. The way she spoke to Lucy with such sweetness showed how much she genuinely cared about her recovery. The fact that she even came in while on call to help was so impressive. Amanda, your compassion, professionalism, and dedication meant the world to us. From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to ensure Lucy received the best possible care, and we felt supported every step of the way. Thank you all for your kindness, expertise, and for treating Lucy like one of your own!

I wish I could have them as my regular vet. Excellent and affordable care. Extremely fast. I came absolutely horrified about what I was about to pay. This crew really cares about animals, and you cannot beat the price. 10/10 recommend.
