I have been here twice in emergency situations. Both times I have to say that the crews that were on were excellent. My first visit with a 10-year-old female Chihuahua ended in heart failure, but they did things to try to revive her that I didn’t even know are possible. So professional so compassionate. They sent a card that was signed by over 20 people. I just went over Thanksgiving weekend with my 4 1/2 month old Chihuahua. Winnie seemed like she ate something bad. Again the doctors and nurses were wonderful. We were met at the door and taken immediately. This place is so much more chill and modern than the university of Pennsylvania emergency room. I like the fact that you get to stay in one big room with your Animal. And when I tell you, I was there for an hour and a half- compared to Penn -my puppies other sister had the same problem a month ago, we were @Penn for 4 1/2 hours and the bill was double and I wasn’t with my Animal at all -it was horrible. This place is outstanding.👍👍👍

I only had my pet cat here for hospitalization after surgery performed by his primary Vet. The staff at VEG were fantastic. They actually cared about my cat. They made sure that he was as comfortable as possible given the circumstances. As for how I was treated as the pet owner, it was also great. From the moment I walked in, the staff was immediately attentive and they actually listened to what my concerns were. Ensuring that not only was I given the opportunity to be a part of my cat's treatment but that I was welcome to be there and not treated as a burden or ever in the way. The ability to come and go at any hour and spend as much time as I want with my pet was a huge help to my mental state. The doors seemed to have been "locked" all hours but there are security personnel to grant you entry and ensure you actually have a pet there. Even the security was a pleasure to interact with. They even have beds for the owners to sleep in overnight! The Veterinarians are easily accessible and professional. All of the supporting staff, including the nurses and admin staff, were excellent and transparent. I never once felt like they were trying to pull a fast-one or over medicate my pet. While it's a bit on the pricey side, I can say that, at least the 12th and Walnut location, VEG was an absolute 5/5 experience. While I hope I never have to go back, I will not hesitate to do so. I also want to throw a special shout-out to all of the Vets that helped treat my Ducky. As well as Christopher, one of the overnight nurses for the nights my cat was in the hospital. Lastly, Candace, the overnight receptionist and member of the admin staff, for just caring, being so helpful and sympathetic, while guiding me through a tough couple of days.

Dr. Megan Caldwell Dr. Megan Caldwell is an excellent professional and helped us when we needed it. Our princess Lilly received excellent treatment. the team also did an excellent job.Thank you very much for everything and God bless! Thank you for the medication and the milk for Lilly's puppy. The puppy's name is Grace and she is breastfeeding from Lilly, and Lilly is taking very good care of her. Thank God! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤍🤍🌷

Had the best experience here recently. VEG gave me a lot of peace of mind during a scary moment on Friday. Despite it being my first time here, staff greeted us by name, held the door open for us, and showed my cat tons of affection. They were the perfect amount of thorough without being invasive. They even called back a few days later to check in, which I found incredibly touching.

I was not there but my husband was. He had taken our dog to your place, which was the only one open on Thanksgiving and you guys were great to him. Comforting him in a time of sorrow. You did everything you could to try to save our pup and even though it wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for, I am forever grateful to your team. Thank you for the nose and paw print. And getting her into a box so we could all say goodbye and take her to go to her final resting place. 💕🐾
