Veterinary Care Center of Richmond

I was referred by a family member being told they were great, I was rushed in and out during my appointment and I felt like my cats previous vet records were not looked over before approaching treatment. I had to ask for testing to be done and I was getting different answers from the tech and doctor on different things making the appointment confusing the doctor seemed kind of rude and gave me no answers for what I was looking for the tech was more helpful and empathetic on the situation. My cats leg was not bandaged after blood work and it swelled and her whole leg is now bruised with a limp whimpering whenever it’s touched. It’s possible that they’re better with dogs rather than cats. I’ve been here before with my family member who referred me they use the same doctor and I was very surprised by how my appointment went compacted to my family members when they were treated with kindness and patience.

Unfortunately my next door neighbor passed away and we took in her elderly cat not 3 days later she was having a hard time breathing and of course it was on a sat and no one else could get me in until I called veterinary care center..they was amazing but unfortunately she had to be euthanized😥It was a hard thing but they all was so kind and sympathetic and I really appreciate everything...we also received a card in the mail with angel wings and kind words from the dr. and staff so again thank you very much u all are amazing❤️

Any vet visit will hurt your pocket book, but i was shocked at how fair the prices were, and felt 0 pressure about any of it. They didnt judge as life can be complicated. They got my dog in the same day, and really seemed to know what they were talking about. More so then any other vet ive been to recently. They treated us, and our dog, incredibly well. For as detailed as they were, and with the tests i welcomed to be ran, it was a relatively quick visit. As quick as it could be with quality care. I hope my dogs health doesnt bring me back too much, but i most definitely will be a long term customer/client. Thank you guys for being what a vet should be! It means a lot to freaked out dog parents!!! (

Such a great vet clinic! Everyone there is so kind and helpful and they answered all my questions about having a new puppy. They were so great when my little westie had an ear infection and just for general checkups as well! Super affordable and just a great place to go! Pictures show with with ear infection vs after with Howells help!

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Our pets are comfortable here and treated very well. The cost is sometimes high, but do you want the doctor that's cheap? Or the one that knows how to help? I won't be taking my fur babies to anyone else. :)
