We were referred to the Veterinary Cancer Group LA after our dog was diagnosed with an aggressive mast cell tumor, and from day one, the care has been outstanding. Dr. Siedlecki guided us through oncology, with radiation handled by Dr. Bommarito. We also met a few other vets along the way — every single one was professional and clearly top of their field. The clinic runs like a well-oiled machine, is spotless, and we never had a single issue during Chuck’s 9 months of treatment. Huge thanks to Dr. Siedlecki, Stephanie, and the entire amazing team for taking such incredible care of our boy and giving us more precious time with him. We’re very grateful!

May 16, 2025 · Maxim P.I want to take a moment and thank the amazing staff at the front desk, they made our Monday visits a little less difficult, consistently treating Milo and me with kindness and compassion. They were never too busy to listen when I had a question. The staff greeted everyone with comforting, warm smiles, never missing an opportunity to-ask how clients and their companions were doing. Milo was drawn to their calm, soothing energy—that was so powerful for me and Milo. Especially on the hard days, and for that, I am so grateful. I also wanted to thank Dr. David Bommarito, and his team. My K-9 companion had a rare type of cancer, and Dr. Bommarito took on that challenge without hesitation. He clearly had tremendous knowledge and determination, and he was direct yet compassionate with his prognosis, never giving me false hope. Dr. Bommarito was also very transparent with the stages of chemotherapy and always displayed genuine concern when asking how Milo was doing with the treatment—he ensured Milo still had a quality of life before continuing or changing the treatment in any way. That really showed me he cared about Milo. At one point, when the treatment was no longer working, he told me he had reached out to some of his colleagues and decided to try one last treatment. I was so grateful to have found a doctor who would leave no stone unturned. I know he gave it his all, which I appreciate so much. It shows integrity, insight, and dedication. Thank you Dr. Bommarito and your caring team. Thank you to both Dr. Bommarito and the entire clinic team. My buddy passed in mid February, but not without a fight. -JC
Mar 24, 2025 · John CabreraThe best place to take your fur babies to make them better. The care, love for animals, and professionalism is above par. I recommend this place 100%. Dr. Shuh is amazing. She helped our dog Gemini with her bladder cancer and extending her life without any suffering. Thank you to everyone there, from the wonderful receptionists, to every person there. EVERY ONE IS VERY SUPPORTIVE.
Mar 01, 2025 · Cynthia GamboaI chose Veterinary Cancer Group for my cat's care for two reasons: 1. the CSAs were incredibly kind, helpful and compassionate on the phone. 2. The staff read over my cat's notes from internal medicine before he came in, discussed his case, and called me to switch him to a doctor they thought would be a better fit. These two things gave me confidence in their level of care, and I was not wrong. Every member of the staff I came into contact with was kind and professional, and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bommarito. He spent an incredible amount of time with me, going over my kitty's options and prognosis. Obviously, I hope not to have to use his services often, but I'm so glad to have found someone I trust.
May 08, 2025 · Patricia Masters KingUPDATE ON ROSEANNE 10/16/24: Roseanne is now in remission and can't thank the team of Dr. Bommarito for the excellent care she received and is still receiving. Roseanne recently had UTI that was meth-resistant but with the help of my regular vet and Dr. Bommarito, Roseanne for now doesn't have the UTI. Roseanne is still taking Palladia chemotherapy tablets for now. I am not sure how long she has to take it. I am hopeful she will live long so I am doing whatever it takes to give her the best care. Thank you to the team. PREVIOUS REVIEW: My dog Roseanne was recently diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma by our regular vet and my friend recommended me Dr. Bommarito as a cancer doctor for Roseanne. I am so glad we came here, even if it's a far drive, coming here for treatment makes me feel that Roseanne is in good hands. the facility is very clean, they are very organized but best of all, the doctor is very responsive. I would email after office hours, weekends, and would be surprised that Dr. Bommarito would answer any of my concerns. Roseanne's cancer is malignant so I am not sure she will be cured but I know we are giving her a fighting chance and best treatment possible. the doctor will only recommend it he believes the treatment is for the best interest of the dog. I also highly recommend getting trupanion for any pet owner since they accept it here and it has helped me a lot by paying 90% of the cancer bills. the staff are all nice. parking is easy. It's located at the roof. Lobby is clean and you can walk to close by restaurants if you want to wait while your fur baby is having treatment.
