Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located at 12601 Towne Center Dr, Cerritos, CA 90703, USA. Operating under the platform category of "Pet Hospital," Vetco Vaccination Clinic appears to focus primarily on providing vaccination services and certain preventative treatments for pets. They can be reached at (562) 924-3018 or their mobile number +1 562-924-3018.
Based on the limited information available from the customer reviews, specific details about the clinic's environment are scarce. One review mentions feeling comfortable with the staff's ability to handle a German Shepherd, suggesting a professional and capable environment for managing pets of various sizes and temperaments. However, there is no detailed description of the clinic's layout, cleanliness, or overall atmosphere provided in the reviews. As a "Pet Hospital" specializing in vaccinations, the environment is likely geared towards efficient and safe administration of these services.
The primary service offered by Vetco Vaccination Clinic, as indicated by its name and the context of the reviews, is vaccinations for pets. This likely includes core vaccines for dogs and cats, such as rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and feline leukemia, as well as other recommended vaccines based on the pet's lifestyle and local disease prevalence. Vaccination is a crucial aspect of preventative pet care, protecting animals from potentially serious and even fatal diseases.
In addition to vaccinations, one review mentions a heartworm snap test and flea medication. This suggests that Vetco Vaccination Clinic may also offer preventative testing for common parasites like heartworms and provide medications to prevent fleas and ticks. These are essential components of routine pet wellness and contribute significantly to a pet's overall health and comfort.
The services might also include consultations related to vaccinations and preventative care, allowing pet owners to discuss their pet's specific needs and receive recommendations from the veterinary professionals at the clinic. However, the reviews do not provide explicit details about the extent of consultation services offered.
One notable feature highlighted in a positive review is the professionalism and comfort provided by the staff, particularly in handling a nervous German Shepherd. This suggests that the clinic employs staff who are experienced in managing different types of animals and can create a reassuring environment for both pets and their owners during the vaccination process. The reviewer also described the service as fast and friendly, indicating efficiency and a positive customer interaction.
However, another review points out a potential issue with transparency regarding charges. The customer was charged $40 for a heartworm snap test that was allegedly not disclosed beforehand by three different individuals they interacted with. This lack of clear communication about fees led to dissatisfaction when the charge was discovered upon receiving the bill breakdown via email. This suggests a potential area for improvement in communicating all costs associated with services to pet owners upfront.
The discrepancy between the technician's quoted price and the final charge at the cashier, which was initially attributed to flea medication without mentioning the test fee, further underscores the issue of unclear communication about costs. This lack of transparency can erode trust and lead to a negative experience for pet owners, even if the veterinary care itself is adequate.
Regarding promotional information, there is no mention of any specific promotions, discounts, or special offers in the provided reviews. As a vaccination clinic, Vetco might periodically offer package deals on certain vaccinations or preventative care bundles, but this cannot be confirmed based on the available information.
In summary, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Cerritos, CA, operating as a "Pet Hospital" focused on preventative care, primarily offers vaccinations for dogs and cats. They may also provide services such as heartworm testing and flea and tick medication. One customer review praises the friendly and efficient service and the staff's ability to handle pets comfortably. However, another review raises concerns about the lack of transparency regarding additional charges for tests. For local users seeking a clinic primarily for vaccinations and preventative treatments, Vetco Vaccination Clinic might be a convenient option. However, it is advisable to ensure clear communication about all potential costs before proceeding with any services to avoid unexpected charges.
As a specialized "Pet Hospital" focusing on vaccinations, Vetco likely aims to provide a streamlined and efficient process for this essential aspect of pet care. The positive feedback regarding the staff's demeanor and efficiency suggests they are capable in their primary area of service. However, the negative feedback concerning undisclosed charges highlights the importance of clear and open communication about all fees associated with any tests or medications administered. Local pet owners considering Vetco Vaccination Clinic should prioritize confirming all costs upfront to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Mar 10, 2025 · D BaezThe Vet Doctors were really nice and sweet to my puppy, but it was not disclosed that I would be charged $40 for the heartworm snap test. I was in touch with 3 people when dealing with my puppy and they all did not tell me I would be charged for the test. When I went to pay I asked why it was so much and that the technician said it would be cheaper than what I paid. The cashier said that the amount was for the flea medication and did not tell me about the $40 test fee either. I found out I was charged through an email that had the price break down. I was not to happy about the added test fee or I would not have done it.
