This is the first and last time we will be coming here. We had an appointment for 4:55pm, but did not get in until 5:33pm. We were waiting patiently outside the vet room, only to have several people be brought in ahead of us who had appointments after us. I would highly recommend Suburban Animal Hospital instead of Vetco.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic, a pet hospital located at 7995 Southtown Dr, Bloomington, MN 55431, USA, with phone numbers (651) 286-1642 and +1 651-286-1642. Vetco Vaccination Clinic primarily focuses on providing convenient and accessible vaccination services for your beloved pets. While our core offering centers around pet vaccinations, we aim to provide a valuable service to the Bloomington community by making preventative care more readily available. It's important to note that while we strive to offer efficient service, feedback regarding wait times and appointment scheduling suggests that experiences may vary. However, positive feedback indicates that our staff is considered great by some clients.
As a pet hospital specializing in vaccinations, Vetco Vaccination Clinic plays a crucial role in protecting the health of your animal companions. Vaccinations are a cornerstone of preventative veterinary care, helping to safeguard your pets against a range of potentially serious and even life-threatening infectious diseases. By focusing on this essential service, Vetco Vaccination Clinic aims to make routine immunizations more accessible and convenient for pet owners in the Bloomington area.
Our Environment: A Focused Clinic for Efficient Vaccinations
As a clinic primarily focused on vaccinations, the environment at Vetco Vaccination Clinic is likely designed for efficiency and convenience. While specific details about the clinic's interior are best obtained through a visit, you can generally expect a clean and organized space dedicated to the streamlined administration of vaccines. The focus is likely on creating a quick and easy process for pet owners to get their animals protected. However, it's worth noting the feedback regarding potential wait times, suggesting that appointment scheduling and flow might be areas to consider when planning your visit.
Core Services: Convenient and Accessible Pet Vaccinations
The primary service offered at Vetco Vaccination Clinic is, as the name suggests, pet vaccinations. While the specific types of vaccines offered are best confirmed directly with the clinic, you can generally expect the availability of core vaccinations recommended for dogs and cats, such as:
- Dog Vaccinations: This may include vaccines for rabies, distemper, parvovirus, adenovirus, and parainfluenza (often combined in a DHPP vaccine), as well as other non-core vaccines based on your dog's lifestyle and risk factors, such as Bordetella (kennel cough), leptospirosis, and Lyme disease.
- Cat Vaccinations: This typically includes vaccines for rabies, feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia (often combined in an FVRCP vaccine), as well as other non-core vaccines such as feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline infectious peritonitis (FIP).
In addition to these core vaccination services, Vetco Vaccination Clinic may also offer:
- Rabies Vaccinations and Certificates: Rabies vaccination is often legally required for dogs and cats and is crucial for public health. Vetco Vaccination Clinic likely provides this essential service and the necessary certification.
- Basic Health Screenings: Some vaccination clinics may offer basic health screenings prior to vaccination to ensure your pet is healthy enough to receive the vaccines. This might include a brief physical examination.
- Information and Education: The clinic may provide information and answer your questions about the importance of vaccinations and the specific vaccines your pet receives.
It is important to note that as a vaccination-focused clinic, Vetco Vaccination Clinic may not offer the full range of services available at a traditional animal hospital, such as comprehensive medical exams, surgery, dentistry, or in-depth diagnostics.
Key Features of Vetco Vaccination Clinic
Vetco Vaccination Clinic aims to provide the following key features for pet owners seeking vaccination services:
- Focus on Vaccinations: Our primary focus is on providing convenient and accessible pet vaccinations, making it easier for pet owners to protect their animals from preventable diseases.
- Convenient Location: Located in Bloomington, MN, at 7995 Southtown Dr, the clinic offers a local option for pet owners in the area seeking vaccination services.
- Potentially Lower Cost: Clinics that focus on specific services like vaccinations may be able to offer more competitive pricing compared to full-service hospitals, as they may have lower overhead costs for specialized equipment and a broader range of services. (This is an assumption based on the clinic's focus and should be confirmed directly).
- Efficient Service: The clinic is likely designed to provide a streamlined and efficient process for administering vaccinations, minimizing the time commitment for pet owners. (While one review mentioned a wait time, the general aim of a focused clinic is often efficiency).
- Staff Interaction: Positive feedback indicates that the staff is considered "great" by some clients, suggesting a friendly and helpful team dedicated to providing the vaccination services.
Important Considerations Based on Customer Feedback
It is important to acknowledge the feedback from a customer who reported a significant wait time despite having a scheduled appointment and expressed frustration with others being seen ahead of them. This suggests that while the staff may be great, there may be potential issues with appointment scheduling or clinic flow that could impact your experience. It is advisable to factor this feedback into your decision and perhaps inquire about typical wait times when booking your appointment.
