Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic

Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located at 1935 S Koeller St, Oshkosh, WI 54902, USA, is a specialized veterinary service operating within the larger Petco retail store environment. Functioning under the "Pet Hospital" category, Vetco distinguishes itself by focusing primarily on accessible and affordable preventative pet care, rather than comprehensive hospital-level services for sick or injured animals. The clinic can be reached at (920) 232-9444. The environment is typically that of a designated area within a Petco store, which means it benefits from the cleanliness and general pet-friendly atmosphere of the retail space. As noted by clients, the environment is "clean," and the staff, including the front desk personnel like Becky and Mercedes, are described as "nice and friendly," contributing to a welcoming and organized experience. The setup is designed for efficiency, facilitating quick and straightforward visits for routine preventative care.

The services offered by Vetco Vaccination Clinic are specifically geared towards preventive health measures for dogs and cats. Their core offering, as the name suggests, is a comprehensive range of vaccinations. This includes essential vaccines such as Rabies, Distemper & Parvo (5-in-1 or 6-in-1 with Lepto) for dogs, and FVRCP (3-in-1) and Feline Leukemia for cats. They also offer optional vaccines like Leptospirosis, Bordetella, Lyme, Canine Influenza, and Rattlesnake vaccines for dogs, and Feline Leukemia for cats, based on the pet's lifestyle and risk factors. Beyond vaccinations, Vetco provides microchipping services, a crucial tool for pet identification and recovery if lost. They also offer diagnostic testing, specifically Heartworm & Tick-borne Disease Tests for dogs and Feline Triple Tests (FeLV + FIV + Heartworm) for cats. Deworming services for roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms are available. Additionally, Vetco provides various prescription preventative medications for flea, tick, and heartworm control, including popular brands like Bravecto, NexGard, Simparica Trio, and Revolution Plus. It's important to note that Vetco Vaccination Clinics focus exclusively on routine preventive care; they do not provide services for emergencies, sick visits, or surgeries, directing clients to full-service veterinary hospitals for such needs. Veterinarian availability may vary, so booking an appointment is recommended to ensure a licensed veterinarian is on-site.

Several key features define the Vetco Vaccination Clinic model, making it an attractive option for pet owners. Firstly, convenience is paramount. Located within a Petco store, it offers accessibility for pet owners who are already visiting for supplies. The clinic strives for quick service, with clients often describing it as "Fast and friendly." They also accommodate walk-ins, although booking an appointment is advised to guarantee veterinarian availability and reduce wait times. Secondly, affordability is a significant draw. Vetco aims to provide "low-cost" vaccination services and preventive care with transparent pricing. A notable feature is the absence of a separate exam fee, which can often be a substantial part of a traditional vet visit cost. This makes essential preventative care more financially accessible for many pet owners. Thirdly, the staff and veterinarians are consistently praised for their friendly, well-organized, and kind approach. Dr. Erik, for instance, is highlighted for his friendliness, organization, and kindness towards pets, while Becky and Mercedes at the front desk are lauded for being "so nice and friendly" and "super helpful." This positive interaction contributes significantly to a 10-star overall experience, as one client enthusiastically stated. Lastly, they offer various packages for puppies/kittens and adult dogs/cats (e.g., Pup Start, Dog Shield Pro, Indoor Protect, Cat Shield Pro), allowing owners to select comprehensive bundles of services at a potentially reduced cost compared to 脿 la carte pricing.

In terms of promotional information, Vetco Vaccination Clinic actively promotes its services through various channels. Their affiliation with Petco, a major pet retail chain, provides inherent visibility and cross-promotional opportunities. They clearly advertise "low-cost vaccines" and emphasize the absence of an "exam fee," which are key selling points for budget-conscious pet owners. The clinic offers various "vaccination packages" for different life stages of pets (e.g., Puppy Series, Kitten Series, Dog Packages, Cat Packages) that often come with savings compared to purchasing individual services. For instance, packages like "Pup Shield Pro" and "Cat Shield Pro" are highlighted as offering significant savings. Additionally, they frequently promote discounts on individual vaccines and tests when purchased with a package (e.g., "Get 10% off when you purchase any 谩 la carte service or Rx product* with a package"). Specific promotions for products like Heartworm and Flea & Tick Prevention are also advertised, often with rebates or special pricing for 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month supplies. Their website also provides detailed pricing for individual vaccines and services, promoting transparency. The overall message is one of making high-quality preventative veterinary care convenient, affordable, and delivered by a caring and efficient team, encouraging regular wellness visits for pets.

The last time we went here the vet was very knowledgeable and worked with are puppy. We went today and the vet was horrible. She didn鈥檛 have any idea what she was doing. Not consistent with the other vet. They muzzled are puppy because he hid behind us. There services are great and really cheap but the only good and knowledgeable vet we met there was Dr. Karla Dietrich. If you get her you will have a great experience otherwise it will be disappointing.
