If I could give them a 0 I would. We went to vetco for our kittens' shots. 8 weeks. They weren't heavy enough yet so we paid for the package the vet recommended and scheduled a new date... Well on that new date (today) we got a notification on my phone saying our kittens now must be 12 weeks old. Their vet has refused our already paid for service that THEIR VET recommended us pay for. This is a scam and I hope all of you out there can find better care for your pets than this. Thank you

The provided reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the environment and services at Vetco Vaccination Clinic. One reviewer who had a negative experience did not comment on the clinic's physical environment but focused on a policy issue. In contrast, another customer described the staff as "extremely nice" and noted that they "seemed to care" for their animals. This suggests that the interpersonal aspect of the clinic can be positive, with staff members who are perceived as caring. The same reviewer also found the veterinarian to be "very patient, gentle, and caring," which contributed to their dog and cat being unusually unstressed during their visit. This implies a calm and considerate approach in the examination room. While we lack a detailed description of the clinic's physical layout, the positive feedback highlights a caring and gentle atmosphere during interactions with staff and the vet.
As a Vaccination Clinic operating under the platform category of Pet Hospital, the primary service offered is likely vaccinations for pets. The negative review involved a situation where kittens, initially deemed not heavy enough for shots at eight weeks, had a vaccination package recommended and paid for. A follow-up appointment was scheduled, but the owner was later informed of a new policy requiring kittens to be 12 weeks old for vaccination, leading to a refusal of the already paid service. This suggests that while vaccination packages are offered, clinic policies regarding the age or weight of animals might impact service delivery. On the other hand, the positive review involved a dog and a cat receiving care, presumably vaccinations or related preventative measures, as the clinic is named a "Vaccination Clinic." The customer was satisfied with the patient, gentle, and caring manner in which their pets were treated during this process. This indicates that when services are rendered, the quality of care and the demeanor of the staff can be commendable. It appears that the core service is vaccinations, but specific policies regarding eligibility for these services should be clarified with the clinic directly.
Several features of Vetco Vaccination Clinic emerge from the customer feedback. A notable positive feature is the kindness and apparent care of the staff, as highlighted by one reviewer. The patience and gentleness of the veterinarian also contributed to a positive experience for their pets. These aspects suggest a caring and pet-friendly approach during the provision of services. However, a significant concern raised by another reviewer is the potential for rigid policy enforcement that could override prior recommendations and payments, leading to a refusal of service. This inconsistency in policy application, or a change in policy not clearly communicated, could be a point of concern for potential clients. It's important to note both the positive reports of caring staff and the negative report regarding policy and service refusal when considering the features of this clinic.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for Vetco Vaccination Clinic in the provided text. Therefore, we cannot comment on any special offers or promotions they might be running. Individuals interested in their services should inquire directly about pricing for vaccination packages or individual vaccinations.
In conclusion, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Altoona, PA, is a Pet Hospital specializing in vaccinations. Customer reviews present a mixed picture, with one highlighting the kindness and gentle approach of the staff and veterinarian, leading to a stress-free experience for their pets. However, another review details a concerning situation where a pre-paid service was refused due to a change in policy regarding the age of kittens for vaccination. This suggests that while the care provided can be positive, potential clients should be aware of the clinic's policies regarding eligibility for services. If you are in the Altoona area and seeking a vaccination clinic, Vetco Vaccination Clinic may offer a caring environment, but it would be advisable to inquire about their specific policies and procedures beforehand. You can contact them at (814) 946-0953 to discuss your pet's vaccination needs and any relevant clinic policies.

Sep 14, 2024 · Cole RandolphTook 2 of my pets in a dog and cat. Everyone was extremely nice and seemed to care for my animals. The vet was very patient, gentle, and caring. Usually, these 2 are extremely nervous at the Vets office. They were not stressed out before, during, or after their visit. I will be going back with all my pets.
