Had an appointment at 4:40pm showed up at 4:15pm and they were leaving. I asked them why they were leaving when I have an appointment they said they tried to call me but I got no calls no messages. They actually changed my appointment to 3pm and I had text messages saying so. When she was packing up the VETCO car it smelled like she had just finished smoking a joint. All set with this one! Called corporate all they did is took a complaint. I told them I鈥檇 never go back and they were like we take complaints seriously. Yeah right! Buyer beware THIS LOCATION!

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic
This introduction provides an objective overview of Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located at 35 Pleasant St in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, based solely on the information available in the provided customer reviews. It is important to note that the following description is derived from a limited number of highly negative experiences and may not represent the entirety of services or typical interactions at this location. Potential customers are advised to consider these accounts carefully and conduct further research before making decisions about their pet's care.
The primary service explicitly mentioned for Vetco Vaccination Clinic is the provision of vaccinations for pets. One reviewer stated, "I take my dog for vaccinations," indicating that this is a core offering of this Pet Hospital. However, the experiences surrounding these vaccination appointments, as described in the reviews, are deeply concerning.
One customer details a situation where they arrived for a scheduled 4:40 PM appointment at 4:15 PM, only to find the staff leaving. According to this review, the clinic had unilaterally changed the appointment time to 3:00 PM without the customer receiving any phone calls or messages, despite having text messages confirming the original time. This indicates significant issues with appointment scheduling and communication.
Adding to the severity of this account, the reviewer alleges unprofessional behavior, stating that the Vetco vehicle smelled of marijuana. This is a serious accusation that, if accurate, reflects poorly on the professionalism and conduct of the staff member involved. The reviewer also reported contacting corporate, who they felt did not take their complaint seriously, expressing skepticism about the company's commitment to customer service.
The second review outlines an even more alarming experience. A customer brought their dog in for vaccinations, noting that the dog had a pre-existing medical condition causing his paw to bleed. The reviewer describes the front desk staff as "very rude" and inattentive to their explanation of the situation. The doctor reportedly responded dismissively with "yes, yes, yes" without engaging with the details provided.
Despite the initial negative interaction, the veterinarian did ultimately determine that the dog could not receive vaccinations until the paw issue was resolved, a decision the reviewer stated they respectfully agreed with. However, the situation escalated dramatically the following day when the police arrived at the reviewer's home. According to the review, Vetco Vaccination Clinic had called the police on the pet owner. The reviewer, who was home with their baby and six-year-old child, described the distress this caused, with the six-year-old fearing the police would take his dog away. After explaining the situation and showing evidence of the dog's medical condition to the police officer, the officer reportedly left without further action. The reviewer characterized Vetco's actions as "very unnecessary" and "unprofessional," expressing extreme dissatisfaction with the entire experience and stating they would give zero stars if possible.
Based solely on these two customer reviews, it is challenging to provide a positive description of the environment or features of Vetco Vaccination Clinic in South Weymouth. The accounts suggest potential issues with:
Customer Service: Both reviews highlight negative interactions with staff, including rudeness, inattentiveness, and a perceived lack of professionalism.
Appointment Management: The first review details a unilaterally changed appointment time and a failure in communication, leading to significant inconvenience.
Professional Conduct: The allegation of drug use by a staff member in a company vehicle is a serious concern regarding professional standards.
Conflict Resolution: The decision to involve law enforcement in a situation where a customer had followed the veterinarian's advice appears to be an extreme and inappropriate response.
There is no information available in the provided text regarding any promotional offers or special services at Vetco Vaccination Clinic in South Weymouth. Given the severely negative nature of the recent feedback, it would be prudent for potential customers to exercise extreme caution and seek veterinary services elsewhere unless further positive information or a clear demonstration of improved practices becomes available.
For local users in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, the information gleaned from these recent reviews paints a concerning picture of Vetco Vaccination Clinic. The accounts detail issues ranging from poor communication and rude staff to alleged unprofessional conduct and an inappropriate escalation involving law enforcement. These are serious allegations that should give any pet owner pause when considering this clinic for their pet's vaccination needs.
It is important to reiterate that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not be representative of all interactions at Vetco Vaccination Clinic. However, the consistency and severity of the issues raised warrant significant caution. Potential customers are strongly advised to seek alternative veterinary care providers in the South Weymouth area who have a more established record of positive customer experiences and professional conduct.
In conclusion, based on the limited information available from recent customer reviews, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in South Weymouth, MA, appears to have significant issues with customer service, appointment management, and professional conduct. The experiences described are highly negative and raise serious concerns about the quality of care and the way customers are treated at this location. Local pet owners are urged to consider these accounts carefully and potentially seek veterinary services from alternative providers with more positive and reliable reputations.

May 06, 2025 路 Maryellen VegaI take my dog for vaccinations. And when I arrived there his paw was bleeding because he has a medical condition. I was trying to explain to the staff members what was going on. The lady in the front desk was very rude and didn't put any attention on what I was saying and the doctor in charge just said yes, yes, yes. I explain her everything and she told me my dog can't get the vaccinations because he needs the problem with the paws solve first. I listen to her with respect and said that I was agreed. The next day the police was at my house because they called them. WhTF, I was with my baby and my 6 years old, he begin crying as crazy because he thought the police will take his dog away from us. I spoke with the officer explain him everything and showed him the evidence of my dogs condition and he left my house with out inconvenience. That was very unnecessary 馃槖 and unprofessional from them. If I can I give them 0 stars
