Billed me incorrectly. I had an appointment and had to wait in line for 45min to be seen. Instead of billing me for the package I requested they line item billed me for vax and did provide a heartworm test. When I went back to correct this mistake on their part they refused and said I would have to pay for an additional heartworm test. 50% of the bill that should have included the test.

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic, a dedicated Pet Hospital located at 169 Parkingway in Quincy, Massachusetts. As a specialized vaccination clinic, Vetco focuses on providing essential preventative care services to help keep your beloved pets healthy and protected. Serving the Quincy area, we strive to offer accessible and affordable options for routine vaccinations and related wellness services.

Our Quincy location at 169 Parkingway offers a straightforward and accessible environment for pet owners seeking efficient vaccination services. You can reach us by phone at (617) 471-5973 or via mobile at +1 617-471-5973 to inquire about our services or schedule an appointment. While specific details about the clinic's physical environment are not provided in the reviews, the mention of friendly and organized staff suggests a functional and efficient setting focused on delivering timely care.

As a Vaccination Clinic operating under the broader category of Pet Hospital, Vetco's primary service is the provision of essential vaccinations for pets. These vaccinations are crucial in protecting your animals from a range of potentially serious and even fatal diseases. While the specific types of vaccines offered are not detailed in the provided information, typical vaccination clinics offer core vaccines for dogs and cats, such as rabies, distemper, parvovirus, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia.

In addition to vaccinations, the reviews indicate that Vetco Vaccination Clinic also offers heartworm testing. Heartworm disease is a serious and potentially life-threatening condition transmitted by mosquitoes, and regular testing is essential for early detection and prevention. The mention of a "package" requested by a customer suggests that Vetco may offer bundled services, combining vaccinations with other preventative measures like heartworm testing.

One of the features highlighted in a customer review is the friendliness and organization of the staff. The reviewer noted, "Staff was friendly and organized. The vet also was very personable too! My best Vetco experience yet!!!!" This suggests that despite the potentially high volume of clients in a vaccination clinic setting, the staff at the Quincy location strives to provide a positive and efficient experience with a personable veterinary professional.

However, it is important to also consider the less positive feedback. One customer reported an issue with incorrect billing and a refusal to rectify the mistake without an additional charge for a heartworm test that should have been included in a requested package. This review highlights the importance of verifying billing accuracy and ensuring clear communication about the services included in any packages offered. While this seems to be an isolated incident reported in the provided reviews, it is a point for potential customers to be mindful of.

Given the focused nature of Vetco as a Vaccination Clinic, the range of services may be more limited compared to a full-service animal hospital. While vaccinations and heartworm testing are mentioned, other services such as comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostics beyond basic tests, surgery, dental care, or management of complex medical conditions may not be the primary focus. For more extensive veterinary care, pet owners may need to consult a full-service animal hospital.

Specific promotional information for the Quincy location of Vetco Vaccination Clinic is not provided in the given reviews. Vaccination clinics sometimes offer package deals or discounts on bundled services to make preventative care more affordable. It would be beneficial for interested pet owners to contact the clinic directly at (617) 471-5973 to inquire about any current promotions, package options for vaccinations and heartworm testing, or any other special offers available.

As a Vaccination Clinic, Vetco's primary feature is its focus on efficient and accessible preventative care through vaccinations. The positive review highlights the friendly and organized staff and the personable veterinarian, suggesting a commitment to a positive customer experience despite the potentially high volume of patients. However, the negative billing experience indicates the importance of clear communication and verification of charges.

In summary, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Quincy, MA, offers focused preventative care services, primarily vaccinations, and at least heartworm testing. The clinic aims to provide these essential services in an organized and friendly environment, as noted by one positive review. However, a reported billing issue suggests the need for customers to be diligent in verifying charges and understanding the scope of services provided. For comprehensive veterinary care beyond vaccinations and basic testing, a full-service animal hospital may be necessary. Contact Vetco directly for the most up-to-date information on their services and any potential promotions.

Unreliable. Canceled appointment with no notification, they just didn't show up. No apology, no thank you, couldn't reach anyone at corporate office who cared. Manager couldn't be bothered to help either. Won't ever do business with petco again.

Couldn’t get results back for our lab work. Would not recommend coming here, only wastes your time calling for customer services for unsatisfactory results after spending a lot of money.
