Our vet appeared scared of our dogs. We have always taken our dogs to Petco and never had any problems. The vet stated he may have to muzzle both my dogs before he even met them. They are large German shepherds but really are sweet and never have had any problems before with any vet or staff. His comments upset my husband and he told the vet he would not be muzzling our dogs. Both dogs left unmuzzled and by the way again gave staff no issues. Disappointed overall with this location. We are seriously considering changing to another place altogether after this situation.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce

For local residents in Antioch, Tennessee, searching under the category "Pet Hospital," Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located at 3536 Murfreesboro Pike #100, presents itself as a veterinary service provider with a clear emphasis on vaccinations for pets, as suggested by its name. The available customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the clinic, with one highlighting concerns about the veterinarian's approach with large dogs, while the other praises the friendly staff and successful appointment. This suggests that while Vetco Vaccination Clinic may be a convenient option for routine vaccinations, individual experiences can vary.

One customer shared a negative experience regarding the veterinarian's interaction with their large German Shepherds: "Our vet appeared scared of our dogs. We are seriously considering changing to another place altogether after this situation." This review raises concerns about the veterinarian's comfort level and initial approach when dealing with large breed dogs, even those with a history of being well-behaved at veterinary clinics. The preemptive suggestion of muzzling without assessing the dogs' temperament caused significant distress to the pet owners and ultimately led to a negative overall impression of this Vetco Vaccination Clinic location. The fact that the dogs were cooperative and did not cause any issues despite not being muzzled further underscores the owners' disappointment.

In contrast, another customer reported a positive experience: "Our appointment was successful and the staff is always very friendly. My dog likes them a lot!" This brief review highlights the friendliness of the staff and the positive reaction of the pet to them, suggesting a welcoming and comfortable environment for at least some animals. The mention of a "successful" appointment implies that the primary service sought, likely a vaccination, was administered effectively and to the owner's satisfaction.

Based on the name and the reviews, the environment of Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Antioch, TN, appears to be primarily focused on efficiency for vaccination services. While one customer found the staff to be friendly, another perceived apprehension from the veterinarian towards large dogs. The overall atmosphere for pets might vary depending on the individual animal's size and temperament and the veterinarian on duty. As a clinic specifically named for vaccinations, it may prioritize a streamlined process for administering shots.

The primary service offered by Vetco Vaccination Clinic is clearly pet vaccinations. This likely includes core vaccines for dogs and cats, as well as other optional or recommended vaccines based on the pet's age, lifestyle, and local regulations. Given the negative review, it is possible that the clinic has specific protocols or a cautious approach when dealing with larger breeds. It is unclear if Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers other veterinary services beyond vaccinations, such as routine check-ups, diagnostics, or treatment for illnesses.

The features of Vetco Vaccination Clinic seem to center around providing focused and likely efficient vaccination services. The friendly staff, as mentioned in one review, could be considered a positive feature. However, the reported apprehension of a veterinarian towards large dogs might be a point of consideration for owners of such breeds. The clinic's specialization in vaccinations might also mean a potentially lower cost for these services compared to a full-service animal hospital, but this is not explicitly stated.

There is no information provided in the reviews regarding any specific promotional offers or discounts at Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Antioch, TN. Vaccination clinics sometimes offer package deals for a series of vaccinations or discounts during specific times. Local users are advised to contact Vetco Vaccination Clinic directly by phone at (615) 641-2112 to inquire about their current vaccination schedules, pricing, and any available promotions or special offers.

In conclusion, for local pet owners in Antioch, Tennessee, searching for a "Pet Hospital" and specifically interested in vaccinations, Vetco Vaccination Clinic at 3536 Murfreesboro Pike #100 offers a focused service. While one customer reported a negative experience with a veterinarian's apprehension towards large dogs, another praised the friendly staff and successful appointment. Potential customers, especially those with large or potentially anxious dogs, may want to contact the clinic beforehand to understand their procedures and ensure a comfortable experience for their pets. For straightforward vaccination needs and a friendly staff, Vetco Vaccination Clinic could be a convenient option, but it's advisable to gather more information based on individual pet needs and temperament.
