Over priced. This service is a rip off. I took my dog for a physical and they charged 70 dollars. Then 1 week later I called back to get a vaccine for my dog. Instead of quoting me a price for the vaccine only, they wanted to charge a full 70 for physical, charge for the vaccines, and a disposal fee. Another 45.00 for vaccine plus 70 and 5.99. That's a rip off. Never going back here again. And, customer support over the phone is horrible the way they speak with people. VETCO won't last with these prices and service.

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic
Welcome to the introduction of Vetco Vaccination Clinic, a "Pet Hospital" located at 5507 Hollywood Blvd STE A, Los Angeles, CA 90028, USA. Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers veterinary services, including physical examinations and vaccinations for pets. Based on the limited feedback available from online reviews, customer experiences appear to be mixed, with some praising the gentleness of the staff and others expressing concerns about pricing and customer service.
Regarding the environment, the provided information does not offer specific details about the clinic's physical space. However, one review mentions the "vet and assistant at Petco's Vetco service," which might suggest a setup within a Petco retail location. This could imply a convenient and accessible location for pet owners already visiting Petco for other needs. However, without further information, a detailed description of the clinic's environment is not possible.
The services mentioned in the reviews include physical examinations and vaccinations. One customer reported taking their dog for a physical examination, which cost $70. Subsequently, when inquiring about a vaccine, they were quoted a price that included another full physical examination fee, the cost of the vaccine itself, and a disposal fee of $5.99. This pricing structure led the customer to believe the service was "over priced" and a "rip off," particularly the requirement for another physical exam fee when only a vaccine was requested. This suggests that Vetco Vaccination Clinic may have specific protocols regarding physical examinations being bundled with other services, such as vaccinations.
On the other hand, another customer had a positive experience with the "vet and assistant at Petco's Vetco service," describing them as "very helpful and gentle" with their new puppy. This feedback highlights a positive aspect of the service provided, particularly in their interaction with and handling of young animals. It suggests that some members of the veterinary team possess a caring and gentle approach, which is crucial for a positive experience, especially for new pet owners and their young pets.
In terms of features, one potential feature could be its association with Petco, which might offer convenience for customers who already shop there. However, this is speculative based on one review's mention. The pricing policy, as perceived by one customer, could be considered a feature – a bundled approach where a physical examination fee is applied even when the primary service sought is a vaccination. The gentleness and helpfulness of the veterinary staff, as noted by another customer, is also a significant feature contributing to the overall customer experience.
There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. The feedback primarily revolves around pricing concerns and positive interactions with the veterinary staff.
Based on the limited and somewhat contradictory information, Vetco Vaccination Clinic, operating as a "Pet Hospital," offers physical examinations and vaccinations. One customer found their pricing policy unfavorable and criticized the phone-based customer support. In contrast, another customer praised the helpful and gentle demeanor of the vet and assistant, particularly with a new puppy. This suggests that while some aspects of their service, such as staff interaction, may be positive, other areas, like pricing transparency and customer service over the phone, may need improvement.
For local users considering Vetco Vaccination Clinic for their pet's needs, it would be advisable to inquire about their pricing policies for different services, especially if you are seeking specific treatments like vaccinations. The positive feedback regarding the gentleness of the staff, particularly with young animals, might be a significant factor for owners of puppies or more anxious pets. However, the negative feedback regarding pricing and phone customer service should also be taken into consideration.
