I made an appointment for 4/26 @ 2:30pm, ( I was first person at 2:30) the lady who approached us at their check-in podium ( I didn't get her name) was just the rudest person! I simply wanted to find out if my Nalas appointment included certain services and when I simply let her know I had a quick question before she checked me in she replied with " I don't have time to answer your questions because I have to ask you some questions but you can ask the vet over there" I replied with an "Okay?" and just looked at her she then changed her demeanor. Turned out I didn't need the appointment however she marked it as " missed" I hope a Vetco supervisor sees this post.

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic
Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic, your accessible and affordable Pet Hospital dedicated primarily to providing essential preventative veterinary care for your cats and dogs. Understanding the importance of regular vaccinations and parasite prevention in maintaining your pet's health, Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers a convenient solution for pet owners seeking these vital services. While not a full-service veterinary hospital offering surgical or extensive diagnostic capabilities, our focus is on making preventative care more readily available and budget-friendly for the community.
Our Environment: Convenient and Accessible Locations
Vetco Vaccination Clinics often operate within or alongside retail locations such as Petco stores. This model provides a familiar and easily accessible environment for pet owners. These clinics are typically set up in a designated area within the retail space, designed to be clean and efficient for administering vaccinations and discussing preventative care. While it may not have the extensive facilities of a traditional veterinary hospital, the environment is geared towards providing straightforward preventative services in a convenient setting.
The setup is usually streamlined to facilitate quick and efficient appointments, focusing on vaccinations, microchipping, and basic parasite prevention. The staff is trained to make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible for your pet within this setting.
Key Preventative Services Offered
As a Pet Hospital specializing in preventative care, Vetco Vaccination Clinic primarily offers the following services:
- Vaccinations: This is a core service, providing essential vaccinations for puppies, kittens, adult dogs, and adult cats to protect them against common and potentially serious infectious diseases. This typically includes core vaccines like rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and adenovirus for dogs, and rabies, feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia for cats, as well as lifestyle-dependent non-core vaccines.
- Microchipping: Providing a simple and permanent way to identify your pet, increasing the chances of a safe return if they ever get lost. Microchipping can often be done quickly and easily during a vaccination appointment.
- Parasite Prevention: Offering a range of products and advice on preventing common parasites such as fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal worms. Veterinarians or trained technicians can help you choose the right preventative for your pet's needs.
- Basic Wellness Checks: While not comprehensive physical examinations, a brief wellness check is often performed before administering vaccinations to ensure your pet appears healthy enough for the vaccines. This may include checking temperature, listening to the heart and lungs, and a general assessment of the pet's condition.
Features of Vetco Vaccination Clinic
- Affordability: One of the key features is often the cost-effectiveness of the services, particularly vaccinations, making preventative care more accessible to a wider range of pet owners.
- Convenience: Operating within or alongside retail locations often means more flexible hours and the ease of combining a vaccination visit with other errands.
- Focus on Prevention: The clinic's primary focus is on essential preventative measures, ensuring your pet receives vital protection against common diseases and parasites.
- Qualified Veterinary Professionals: Vaccinations and other medical services are typically administered by licensed veterinarians or trained veterinary technicians.
Promotional Information
Vetco Vaccination Clinic often provides cost-effective solutions for preventative care, which can be seen as a form of ongoing promotion. Specific promotional offers may vary by location and time, but here are some examples of what you might find:
- Package Deals on Vaccinations: Offering bundled pricing when you get multiple vaccinations at once for your pet. For example, a puppy or kitten series package might be available at a discounted rate compared to individual shots.
- Microchip Specials: Occasionally offering reduced prices on microchipping services, sometimes bundled with vaccinations.
- Discounts on Preventative Medications: Providing competitive pricing or special offers on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.
- New Client Offers: Some locations might have introductory offers for first-time visitors. It's always worth checking their website or asking directly about any deals for new clients.
To find the most current promotional information for a Vetco Vaccination Clinic near you, it is best to visit the Vetco website or inquire at the specific location you plan to visit. They can provide details on any ongoing specials or discounts on their preventative care services.

Apr 27, 2025 · Glendalie MercedEvery staff member was very kind, patient and respectful. I didn’t notice any hint of any employee ever getting aggravated if an animal was not being cooperative. In fact, they were very gentle with each animal regardless. Highly recommend.
Oct 17, 2023 · Martha DohertyTerrible, improperly diagnosed, wrong meds, never met my primary that I've had for 2 yes, they never answer the phones! To top it off every time you need to refill you have to go in and see them and then by the time you do you've been without your meds for days and then your problems come back then you got to start all over that's even the worst part I had to find out through a registered nurse about what I need for meds and what I got that a friend of mine that's a registered nurse I went to the emergency room for hours and I that could have all been prevented with proper care I am definitely changing I'm not going here anymore I'm calling right now to get the right meds and then I'm changing.
Aug 19, 2021 · Bonnie OrcuttNot very good. Called right now to get into a low-income clinic because the Google says they do spay/neuter for cats and dogs. And the guy on the phone says they don't exist. Petsmart in Enfield isn't very helpful either. Lack of questions answered in crazy Enfield.
