I normally don’t do reviews but this place just upset me. The customer service is very unwelcoming. I went in for a booster shot for my kitten and the way the animals were being handled made me hesitant about my service and requested to cancel my appointment the day. Very unsanitary. They used the same towel that they used on another sick cat on my kitten and didn’t use any sanitation products and gloves. No care shown what so ever.

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic
Welcome to an introduction of Vetco Vaccination Clinic, a pet hospital located at 528 Gateway Dr Unit 4 in Brooklyn, New York (NY 11239). As a pet hospital, Vetco Vaccination Clinic primarily focuses on providing vaccination services for pets and may offer other related healthcare options. They can be contacted at (718) 647-2604 or their mobile number +1 718-647-2604 for inquiries regarding their services or to schedule an appointment for your pet's vaccinations.
Understanding the environment of a pet hospital is important for pet owners to ensure their animals receive care in a setting that prioritizes hygiene and safety. One customer review raises significant concerns about the clinic's sanitary practices. This review describes an incident where the same towel used on a sick cat was allegedly used on a kitten without any apparent sanitation procedures or the use of gloves. This account suggests a potential lack of adherence to strict hygiene protocols, which could be a critical factor for pet owners to consider.
The primary service implied by the name "Vetco Vaccination Clinic" is the provision of vaccinations for pets. Vaccinations are a crucial aspect of preventive healthcare for animals, protecting them from various infectious diseases. The clinic likely offers a range of core vaccinations for common pets like cats and dogs. One customer specifically mentioned visiting for a booster shot for their kitten, confirming that vaccination services are indeed offered.
While the focus appears to be on vaccinations, pet hospitals often provide additional services related to animal health. The limited information does not explicitly detail other services offered by Vetco Vaccination Clinic. However, it is possible that they may provide basic health check-ups in conjunction with vaccinations or offer advice on pet wellness. It is advisable for pet owners to directly inquire about the full scope of services available at the clinic.
Features of a pet hospital can include various aspects such as the quality of care, customer service, efficiency, and administrative processes. Based on the available customer reviews, experiences at Vetco Vaccination Clinic appear to be mixed. One reviewer praised the lady who assists before seeing the vet as "great" and "very helpful," and also noted that the gentleman at checkout was "very nice." This suggests that some members of the staff are perceived as friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the customer experience.
However, another review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the overall customer service, describing it as "very unwelcoming." This discrepancy in feedback highlights the potential for inconsistent experiences. The concern raised about the handling of animals and the alleged unsanitary practices are critical features that potential clients should be aware of. The reviewer's hesitation about proceeding with the service due to these observations underscores the importance of trust in a veterinary care provider's hygiene standards.
Another notable feature mentioned in one of the reviews is the clinic's reliance on online access for records. The customer expressed frustration with having to obtain all information online, stating a preference for paper records, especially as they needed records for a spay procedure and were not comfortable navigating digital systems. This indicates a potential limitation for clients who prefer or require physical documentation of their pet's health information.
Promotional information is typically used to attract clients and highlight the benefits of choosing a particular service. In the absence of explicit promotional offers in the provided text, we can consider the core service of vaccinations as a key offering. Vaccinations are essential for maintaining pet health and preventing costly treatments for preventable diseases. Vetco Vaccination Clinic's focus on vaccinations may appeal to pet owners seeking this specific preventative care service in the Brooklyn area.
However, the negative feedback regarding customer service and sanitary practices could deter potential clients. It is crucial for Vetco Vaccination Clinic to address these concerns to ensure a positive and safe experience for all pets and their owners. For local users in Brooklyn considering Vetco Vaccination Clinic for their pet's vaccinations, it would be prudent to weigh the convenience and focus on vaccinations against the reported issues with customer service and hygiene.
In conclusion, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Brooklyn, NY, primarily offers vaccination services for pets. While some staff members have been praised for their helpfulness and friendliness, there are significant concerns raised by at least one customer regarding unwelcoming customer service and potentially unsanitary practices. Additionally, the clinic's reliance on online records may be inconvenient for some clients. Potential clients should consider these factors and perhaps seek further information or recent reviews to make an informed decision about their pet's care.

Mar 15, 2024 · Lynne BornerI called and made an appointment. I received an appointment which I arrived one hour on time and was told to stand on line. I was read directed to the grooming area after I told him AGAIN I WAS THERE FOR A GROOMING APPOINTMENT. The grooming department didn’t want to accept the puppy and said I was late. Once again, I was early coming up with an excuse for not Not receiving services the puppies. When I called, I gave information of shots and date of birth of puppy and was told to bring documents with me which I did. I told all the shots that was received and she approved that it will receive services to bring the puppy in and that’s how I got the appointment. I am extremely upset that I took the day off to come all the way to your location to receive services and was turned down. I came all the way there from Queens with my puppy in the rain for my appointment .PETCO 2300 Jericho Turnpike, Garden City Park, NY 11040 IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE/very selfish to put their customer and their pets through this. Especially to someone who is a member. I was even on time there was no excuse for me to be turned down for services. Extremely disappointed.
