I don't usually go out of my way to complain but this time I had a terrible experience with the vaccine clinic. First thing is they send emails and texts about making sure you are on time and its a strange time like 2:46 or something like that. I was there 10 min early and it still took them 35 min AFTER my scheduled time to see me. They did the heartworm test and the vaccinations I needed for my two dogs but I specifically wanted a printout of all the vaccinations on record for both (that included the rabies they already had and had gotten with vetco previously). I travel a lot and need that for verification at some places. They said they could provide that but if they couldn't they should have told me. They gave me this tiny little text on the receipt and it was just the vaccines they got that day. They said they emailed me the rest. Nope, the email said nothing about the list of vaccines, it was a copy of some visit list that didnt have anything about vaccines and a copy of my signed consent. Also I asked for prescriptions for trifexis for both. They emailed one dog for trifexis and the other dog for heartgaurd and nextguard. So I am probably going to have to call the regular vet (vetco in N. Katy) to get what I need. I think they were too involved with talking with each other and using the iPads to help customers or pay attention to what they need. The cashier said they would use my reward dollars and he acted like he found them then didn't use them, smh. I was to tired by that time to figure it out. I totally LOVE the grooming salon hands down, they are awesome but I will not be using this vaccine clinic again.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic, a specialized pet hospital located at 12310 Farm to Market 1960 Rd W in Houston, TX 77065, USA. As a part of the broader Pet Hospital category, Vetco Vaccination Clinic focuses primarily on providing essential preventative care for your beloved pets, particularly vaccinations and testing services. You can reach us at (281) 807-4032 or our mobile number +1 281-807-4032 for inquiries or to schedule an appointment. Our aim is to offer convenient and accessible preventative care options for pet owners in the Houston area.

At Vetco Vaccination Clinic, our core services revolve around protecting your pets from preventable diseases and parasites. We offer a range of essential vaccinations for dogs and cats, tailored to their specific needs and lifestyles. Vaccinations are a cornerstone of responsible pet ownership, helping to safeguard your animal companions and the wider pet community from infectious illnesses.

In addition to vaccinations, we also provide heartworm testing, a crucial diagnostic procedure to detect the presence of this potentially life-threatening parasite. Regular heartworm testing is vital, especially in regions like Houston where heartworm disease is prevalent. Based on the test results, our team can advise on appropriate preventative measures.

Furthermore, Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers prescriptions for preventative medications such as flea and tick control, as well as heartworm preventatives. These medications play a significant role in maintaining your pet's health and comfort by protecting them from common external and internal parasites. It is important to note, however, that one customer reported an issue with receiving the correct prescriptions for their two dogs, highlighting a potential area for improvement in our prescription fulfillment process.

While our primary focus is on vaccinations and preventative testing, it's worth noting that the location at 12310 Farm to Market 1960 Rd W also houses a grooming salon that has received high praise from at least one customer. This indicates that while the vaccine clinic and grooming services might operate somewhat independently, the overall facility may offer a broader range of pet care options.

Based on the available customer reviews, experiences at Vetco Vaccination Clinic appear to be somewhat varied. One customer reported a negative experience concerning appointment wait times, issues with obtaining comprehensive vaccination records, and inaccuracies in prescription orders. They also mentioned a lack of attention from the staff and problems with the cashier regarding the use of reward dollars. This feedback suggests that while our core services may be beneficial, there are areas where the customer experience could be significantly improved, particularly in terms of administrative processes and staff attentiveness.

On a more positive note, another customer described their experience as "great" for their pets, and a separate short review praised the friendliness and professionalism of the people at the clinic. These positive comments indicate that many pet owners have had satisfactory interactions and appreciate the service provided. This highlights the potential for a positive experience, although consistency in service delivery appears to be an area that needs attention.

The environment of Vetco Vaccination Clinic is not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. However, as a vaccination-focused clinic, it is likely designed to be efficient and comfortable for quick appointments. The emphasis is typically on the timely administration of vaccines and necessary tests. While perhaps not offering the extensive amenities of a full-service animal hospital, the environment should be clean and professional to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets during their visit.

Features of Vetco Vaccination Clinic likely include scheduled appointments, as indicated by the email and text reminders mentioned in one review. The use of iPads by staff suggests a move towards digital record-keeping and potentially streamlined processes, although the execution of these processes seems to be an area for improvement based on the customer feedback regarding vaccination records and prescriptions.

Regarding promotional information, the reviews do not mention any specific ongoing promotions or discounts. It is possible that Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers package deals for certain vaccination series or seasonal promotions. To obtain the most up-to-date information on any available promotions, we encourage you to contact us directly at (281) 807-4032 or +1 281-807-4032.

In conclusion, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Houston offers a focused approach to preventative pet care, primarily through vaccinations and heartworm testing. While some customers have reported positive experiences with our friendly and professional staff, there are also areas of concern regarding appointment wait times, accuracy of records and prescriptions, and overall administrative efficiency. We are committed to taking all feedback seriously and striving to provide consistent and high-quality preventative care for your pets. We encourage local pet owners seeking vaccination and testing services to consider Vetco Vaccination Clinic and to contact us with any specific questions or concerns they may have.
