I really appreciate the savings and convenience VetCo vaccines provided. But I have a slight complaint. I have 2 dogs. Both are on my Petco account. When arriving for my appt in Roseville, the girl at the podium entered my dogs info because she wasn't listed on my account. A year ago, I took my other dog, who is also listed on my account and not her first visit, to a location in St Paul and without asking questions the guy listed my dog as male. So that's what's on her vaccination records and didn't look good when I was presenting the records to my landlord and city for a licence. Because everything is done via email, I didn't know about the errors, until I renewed her license weeks later. I also asked for the 2 year rabies and they gave her the yearly dose. Again the guy said nothing and I realized this weeks later. I realize the vet does what is entered into the computer, so clearly not her fault. If you have trouble speaking 😖, please avoid working with the public.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic, conveniently located inside the Petco at 2575 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113, USA. As a specialized service within the broader Pet Hospital category, Vetco focuses on providing accessible and budget-friendly vaccination services for your beloved dogs and cats. We understand the importance of preventative care in maintaining your pet's health and aim to make essential vaccinations readily available to pet owners in the Roseville area.

Our environment is primarily situated within the retail space of Petco, offering a unique convenience for pet owners who may be already visiting the store for other pet-related needs. This setup allows for a streamlined process, often enabling same-day appointments for vaccinations, as highlighted in customer reviews. While the visibility of the clinic within the Petco store might require a moment to locate the check-in area, the accessibility and co-location aim to simplify the process of getting your pet vaccinated.

The primary service offered at Vetco Vaccination Clinic is, as the name suggests, the administration of essential vaccines for dogs and cats. Vaccinations are a cornerstone of preventative veterinary care, protecting your pets from a range of potentially serious and even fatal diseases. Our experienced veterinarians are on-site to administer these vaccines, ensuring they are given correctly and in accordance with established veterinary guidelines. We offer a variety of core and non-core vaccines, depending on your pet's species, age, lifestyle, and local regulations. These may include rabies, distemper, parvovirus, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and leptospirosis for dogs, and rabies, feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia for cats.

A key feature of Vetco Vaccination Clinic, as noted in customer feedback, is the affordability and convenience it provides. For pet owners seeking cost-effective options for routine vaccinations, Vetco can be a valuable resource. The ability to often secure same-day appointments adds to this convenience, particularly in situations where proof of vaccination is unexpectedly required, such as for boarding or licensing purposes.

However, it's important to acknowledge some of the concerns raised in the customer reviews to provide a balanced and objective introduction. One customer mentioned inconsistencies in the accuracy of their pet's records, including incorrect gender information and the administration of a one-year rabies vaccine when a two-year option was requested. This feedback underscores the importance for pet owners to carefully review all documentation provided at the time of service and to ensure all information is accurately recorded. The review suggests that while the veterinarian's role is to administer what is entered into the system, clear and accurate communication from the front desk staff is crucial to avoid such errors.

Another review noted that while the veterinarian was friendly and professional, some of the veterinary assistants appeared less engaged. This highlights that while the core service of vaccination may be efficient, the overall customer experience can be influenced by the demeanor and attentiveness of all staff members. Creating a welcoming and engaged atmosphere is important for ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

The reliance on email for record-keeping and communication, as mentioned in one review, can be both a convenience and a potential drawback. While digital records offer ease of access and storage, it also means that errors might not be immediately apparent until the records are needed for other purposes, such as license renewal. Pet owners should proactively review any emailed documentation promptly after their visit to identify and address any discrepancies.

Currently, the provided information does not detail any specific promotional offers or discounts available at the Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Roseville. For the most up-to-date information on pricing, available vaccines, and any ongoing promotions, it is recommended to contact the clinic directly at (651) 636-8808 or mobile phone +1 651-636-8808. You may also be able to find information on the Petco website or by visiting the store location.

In conclusion, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Roseville, MN, offers a convenient and potentially more affordable option for routine pet vaccinations, operating within the Petco retail environment. While many customers appreciate the savings and ease of access, it's important for pet owners to be diligent in ensuring the accuracy of their pet's records and to communicate clearly with the staff regarding their specific needs and preferences for vaccinations. By being proactive and attentive during your visit, you can leverage the convenience and affordability that Vetco aims to provide for your pet's preventative healthcare needs.

I got a same day appointment for vaccines which saved my butt when I had to unexpectedly board my dog. Services were efficient and professional. The veterinarian was friendly but her assistants definitely wanted to be anywhere else but there. The visibility within the Petco was not great and it took me a minute to figure out where to check in.

The techs my past three times have been rude, unprofessional, tired looking. They are never on the same page. This past time they tried to give my kitten a second rabies vaccine. I was never told about a package deal. Overall horrible experience, will not be using their services again.

Whole experience felt rushed. Was told not giving my dog heart guard was not taking care of her health— have always been told it’s optional previously. Staff seemed over booked and were annoyed by my animals anxiety/it taking her longer to receive shots. Appointments should have longer slots and I feel it would make it easier on staff and customers. Have previously felt great about financial accessibility of services AND care from providers. Will not be returning to this location unfortunately.

If I could I would 4.5 star. I usually go on the weekdays, but my last visit, I went in was on a sunday. I was told I HAVE to have my dog do heartworm test and HAVE to buy (either) 6 mon or 1 yr worth of heartgaurd for my dog when I went in for rabies update and distemperment ONLY. it was always an OPTION to do heartworm test and buying heartgaurd starting 1 mon and on. I asked the lady if I could just do 1 mon and she replied no and that it was only given 6 mon or 1 yr of heartgaurd. And as for the test, she told me that my dog has to do the test.
