I have a pup training to be an ESA pet, it was sad to see him in anxiety after this visit. The tech dug around in his leg, consistently poking, and fishing around for his vein which on top of the dog that started barking at him made him feel anxiety to being with. His first clinic was fantastic I purchased him a 20 femur after his first clinic.... This one left my dog wanting to hide from me, not wanting to leave the car nor go in the house. Then left to ask the groomer questions, I kid you not this lady turned her nose up and told me they couldn't see us before she even heard my question, glad we were able to get him seen for shots but on my life. I would not return for grooming nor vaccines solely based on my recent experience. Not happy. Had to double back and get my dog rabies tag. Cause they are supposed to provide a tag once you pay for the vaccine. Yeah just forget ours! The male tech was pretty helpful. And tried to make it better. #Troylocation

At Vetco Vaccination Clinic, we understand the critical role of regular vaccinations in safeguarding your pets from potentially serious and costly diseases. We also recognize that grooming contributes significantly to a pet's overall well-being, affecting hygiene, comfort, and the early detection of skin issues. By offering both vaccination and grooming services, Vetco Vaccination Clinic strives to be a practical solution for essential pet care needs in the Troy area.
Our Environment: Efficient and Informative
Our clinic is designed to provide efficient and accessible services. While we focus on delivering key preventative care, we aim to maintain a professional environment for your pet's visit:
- Clean and Functional Clinic Space: We maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure a hygienic setting for all pets receiving care.
- Designated Service Areas: We have specific areas for vaccinations and grooming, allowing for a focused and streamlined delivery of each service.
- Informative Interactions: Our trained staff aims to provide pet owners with valuable information regarding their pet's health and the services provided. As noted in a customer review, the Vet Techs were "extremely informative" and provided a lot of knowledge during the visit.
Our Key Services: Vaccinations and Grooming
Vetco Vaccination Clinic specializes in two primary services to address important aspects of pet care:
- Affordable Vaccinations: Our core service is providing affordable vaccinations to protect your pets from common and preventable diseases. We offer a range of essential vaccines for dogs and cats, administered by trained veterinary professionals. Our goal is to make these vital preventative measures accessible to a broader range of pet owners in the community.
- Efficient Vaccination Process: We strive to make the vaccination process as quick and easy as possible. While specific scheduling details aren't provided in the reviews, the focus on efficiency suggests a streamlined approach to administering vaccines.
- Grooming Services: We also offer grooming services to help keep your pets clean and comfortable. However, one customer review detailed a negative grooming experience, indicating a haircut that was "far too short" and a dismissive interaction with the groomer. This suggests that while grooming is offered, the quality and customer service in this area may vary.
Our Unique Features: Informative Staff and Accessible Care
Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers certain features that aim to benefit pet owners in the Troy area:
- Informative Veterinary Technicians: According to a customer review, the Vet Techs are "extremely informative," providing pet owners with a lot of useful information and making them feel knowledgeable after the visit. This focus on client education can be a significant benefit.
- Potentially Helpful Male Technician: One review mentioned a "male tech" who was "pretty helpful" and tried to improve a negative experience. This suggests that some members of the staff are dedicated to providing good customer service.
- Focus on Affordability: As a vaccination clinic, our primary aim is to offer essential preventative care at an affordable price point, making it easier for pet owners to protect their animals' health.
Important Considerations Based on Customer Feedback: Patient Experience and Service Consistency
It is crucial to consider all aspects of customer feedback to provide a balanced and objective introduction. One review detailed several negative experiences during a visit to the Troy location:
- Anxiety-Inducing Vaccine Administration: The review described a traumatic experience for a pup undergoing a vaccine, with a technician struggling to find a vein, causing the dog anxiety. This highlights a potential concern regarding the skill or technique of some staff members during procedures.
- Negative Grooming Interaction: The reviewer reported a dismissive and negative interaction with the groomer, who refused service without even hearing the question. This indicates potential issues with customer service in the grooming department.
- Failure to Provide Rabies Tag: The reviewer had to return to the clinic to retrieve their dog's rabies tag, which should have been provided after the vaccination. This suggests a lapse in standard procedures or attention to detail.
- Negative Impact on Pet's Well-being: The reviewer noted that their dog exhibited signs of significant distress and anxiety after the visit, including hiding and reluctance to enter the house. This underscores the importance of a positive and stress-free experience, especially for pets undergoing medical procedures.
- Inconsistent Experience: The reviewer contrasted this negative experience with a "fantastic" experience at a different clinic where they purchased a "20 femur" (likely a typo and intended to be something else), indicating potential inconsistencies in service quality between different locations or visits.

Jul 30, 2024 · Queen McCauleyAll of the Vet Techs were extremely informative. I was given a lot of information and felt very knowledgable after the visit. They also treated my pup with love and care which made me feel very comfortable.
Jan 29, 2024 · Jasmine BrownCompletely unprofessional and unreliable. I scheduled an appointment for 12:55 to get my dog’s canine influenza vaccine. About an hour and a half prior to my appointment I started to get calls and texts from what appeared to be one of the clinic employee’s personal phones asking me to come in earlier because I was the last appointment of the day. I responded and let them know that I would be keeping my original appointment time since I work during the day and could not move it, to which I was warned that if I was more than 5 minutes late they would cancel my appointment. I showed up early, and it was clear they didn’t read my appointment request because when I told them my name they asked what service I needed for my dog, I told them that she needed the canine influenza vax, and they told me they didn’t have it. I would avoid vetco clinics at all costs - they clearly just want to go home as early as they can and don’t take the time to let customers know that the services they ask for aren’t actually available.
Sep 20, 2023 · Brenna StaneckiA very helpful place to stop by for yearly and 3-year well-priced vacation and rabies AND meditation! TY The information side-effects sheet helped me be okay with a little tired and lazy dog but his reactions were ALL on the normal side. He was very tied, my 9 lb. Chihauhau and no appetite.Normal. A worried dog dad wants to be certain! He feels great today. Even wants food. TY And for a guide sheet to pet trauma and dog/cat ER services. Knowing and preventing preparation and information, helps navigate my pets health more easily. Thanks, Vetco and Petco.
Dec 28, 2023 · Robert CampagnaI took my dog for rabie vaccination. After the vaccination, they were going to send me the vaccination report to my email. However, I waited several hours and I did not receive the report. I called the office and waited at least 20 minutes to talk to somebody. They revised all my contact information including my email address and I would receive the report in a few minutes. I waited another one hour and I did not receive any report. I called them again and asked them the problem and wanted to talk to the manager and agent made me to wait at leased 15 minutes and the agent hung up the phone. Again I called the office and reported the incidence and agent said that manager would call me in a few hours and I still did not receive any call. I called the office again and agent checked my email and It was wrong and corrected it. All my personal information was sent different email address and they made me very vulnerable. Now , I do not know how to correct their mistake!!
