When I went there my dog has to wear a muscle or when you are giving the shot she might bite. It is in the notes about it. The lady that was getting the medicine ready came out and told me that if I have to have a muscle on her that I might have to give her medicine in order for them to give the shots. I have been going there since I got my puppy and that's what they have been doing. I felt very disrespected by they way the lady was taking to me. I have never been told that with her needing one that they might not be able to give her shots next time. I'm not sure if I will be back. I always spend about $200 or more on her shots everytime I go.

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic
Welcome to the introduction of Vetco Vaccination Clinic, a dedicated pet hospital located at 5951 6th Ave, Tacoma, WA 98406, USA. As a key player in the Pet Hospital category, Vetco Vaccination Clinic focuses primarily on providing essential vaccination services to ensure the health and well-being of your beloved pets. Understanding the importance of accessible and efficient preventative care, Vetco Vaccination Clinic aims to be a reliable resource for pet owners in the local Tacoma area.
While specific details about the clinic's environment are not explicitly available in the provided information, it is common for vaccination clinics to offer a clean and organized space designed for the comfort and safety of both pets and their owners. You can likely expect a reception area for check-in and waiting, as well as designated areas where the veterinary staff can administer vaccinations efficiently. The focus is typically on creating a calm and reassuring atmosphere to minimize stress for your pet during their visit. It is advisable to contact Vetco Vaccination Clinic directly at (253) 566-5967 or +1 253-566-5967 for specific details about their facilities and any COVID-19 related protocols that may be in place.
The primary service offered by Vetco Vaccination Clinic, as the name suggests, is the administration of vaccinations for various types of pets, most likely including dogs and cats. Vaccinations are a cornerstone of preventative veterinary care, protecting your animal companion from a range of potentially serious and even fatal diseases. These services typically include core vaccinations recommended for all pets, as well as lifestyle-dependent vaccinations that may be necessary based on your pet's exposure risks. While the provided information does not list the specific vaccines offered, common canine vaccinations include protection against rabies, distemper, parvovirus, adenovirus, and parainfluenza. Feline vaccinations often include protection against rabies, feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia. It is recommended to discuss your pet's specific needs with the veterinary staff at Vetco Vaccination Clinic to determine the appropriate vaccination schedule.
Beyond vaccinations, it is plausible that Vetco Vaccination Clinic may offer related preventative care services such as deworming and basic health checks associated with vaccination appointments. However, based on the information provided, their primary focus appears to be on efficient and accessible vaccination services. For more comprehensive veterinary care, including diagnostics, surgery, and treatment for illnesses, you may need to consult a full-service veterinary hospital.
One of the potential features of a dedicated vaccination clinic like Vetco could be its efficiency and potentially lower costs compared to a full-service hospital for routine vaccinations. By specializing in this area, they may be able to streamline the process and offer competitive pricing for these essential services. The "Vetco" name itself suggests a focus on veterinary care, and their physical presence at the provided address indicates a commitment to serving the local community.
Regarding promotional information, the provided text does not contain any specific promotions or discounts. To learn about any current offers or special programs, it is best to reach out to Vetco Vaccination Clinic directly via phone. They may have introductory offers for new clients or package deals for a series of vaccinations.
It is important to consider the feedback from real customers when evaluating any service. One customer review mentions an experience where their dog, who requires a muzzle for vaccinations (as noted in their records), was potentially going to be denied service or required medication prior to vaccination. The customer expressed feeling disrespected by the way this was communicated, especially as they have been a recurring customer spending a significant amount on each visit. This review highlights the importance of clear communication, consistent protocols, and respectful interactions between staff and pet owners. While this is just one customer's experience, it is something for potential clients to be aware of and perhaps discuss with the clinic beforehand if their pet has specific behavioral considerations.
Another piece of information provided is a note to "place a sign where you used to be at this location letting people know the Vetco Staff is in back." This suggests that the clinic's entrance or primary service area might not be immediately visible from the front of the location, and a sign is needed to direct clients to the correct area. This is a practical detail for local users to be aware of when visiting the clinic.
In summary, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Tacoma, WA, is a Pet Hospital category provider specializing in vaccinations for pets. While detailed information about their environment and comprehensive service list is not available, their focus on vaccinations suggests an efficient approach to preventative care. Local users can contact them directly at (253) 566-5967 or +1 253-566-5967 for specific inquiries about their services, environment, and any current promotions. It is also advisable to be mindful of the customer feedback regarding communication and protocols, especially if your pet has specific needs or behavioral considerations. Remember to look for a sign directing you to the Vetco staff when you arrive at their location on 6th Avenue.
