Horrible open space environment where there is a huge line of pet parents waiting to be served, all watching your pet under duress while getting their shots. Absolutely no privacy for your pet in an already stressful situation. Please don't goto Dr. Lyle Cleary. He has no common sense about him. He didn't even want to try to calm my dog down with common sense calming techniques and gave up after I paid my bill ahead of time for the vaccines (their standard policy is to pay first). The Vet Techs are are also young inexperienced girls who have no idea about calming pets under duress (Samantha B.). The manager on duty that day didn't even try to put a privacy curtain up....everybody is watching your pet in discomfort!!

Welcome to Vetco Vaccination Clinic

For pet owners in the New York, NY area seeking a "Pet Hospital Near Me" for vaccinations, Vetco Vaccination Clinic is located at 2475 Broadway, New York, NY 10025, USA. They can be contacted at (212) 877-1270 or +1 212-877-1270.

However, it is important for potential customers to be aware of recent feedback regarding the clinic environment and service. According to one review, the clinic has an open space environment with a potentially long line of waiting pet owners, which may lead to a lack of privacy for pets during vaccinations and could be a stressful experience for them. The reviewer also expressed concerns about a specific veterinarian, Dr. Lyle Cleary, suggesting a lack of common-sense calming techniques for pets under duress and a perceived premature abandonment of attempts to calm the animal after payment.

Another customer reported issues with administrative processes, including an error in their pet's gender on the visit summary and difficulties in obtaining a proof of payment or receipt. This lack of a receipt reportedly caused issues with insurance reimbursement and the timely acquisition of a health certificate required for air travel. The customer also described unprofessional and unhelpful behavior from the staff when attempting to rectify these issues.

Based on this recent feedback, potential customers should consider these experiences when deciding whether to utilize Vetco Vaccination Clinic for their pet's vaccination needs. While the clinic offers vaccination services, the reported environment, service approach of at least one veterinarian, and administrative challenges may be important factors for local pet owners to take into account. No promotional information was available in the provided reviews.

SHAME ON YOU. I came on 08/01 to get my dog Gaby vaccinated. They put on her visit summary that she’s a neutered male, (she’s a female and she’s intact), I asked for a receipt at the cashier and they told me it was going to be sent by email, that they don’t print receipt. On the email I received it was a visit summary with the price but no proof of payment. I was never able to get the receipt back. I called vetco, petco, and returned to the store to get it printed out, they said I needed to have an account with them to get my receipt. My insurance never reimbursed the vaccination without the receipt. I needed this vaccination to fly and get a health certificate. The certificate being wrong in the gender, I was never able to get my health certificate on time for the flight. When back to ask it corrected, the staff talks to me like I’m an idiot, the guy at the cashier and the two girls at the vet are looking at me saying « you gotta wait until 10am » and are completely ignoring me and are swiping on their phones. Wild. Don’t go there, it’s trouble guaranteed ! It’s surreal that a vet makes a mistake between make and female.

This location had better communication and more space to maneuver with my pet. I appreciate that.

I have brought two cats and two dogs to this location 3 years in a row for annual vaccinations. I think they are terrific! The cost is the lowest you will find but you are still getting the attention of a qualified veterinarian and veterinary technicians. This location is never ridiculously crowded like some other VETCOS, and they manage it well in my experience.

After paying ridiculous amounts of money in other places for Ellie’s care, we finally found our vets for life! The staff is amazing and you can tell right away they love working with animals. Everything is affordable and super easy, no to mention the large supply of TOYS and baked treats (which they sell for only $10 a pound) and, I get to hold my puppy while they give her her shots. I totally recommend!
