Told to DOUBLE the vaccine due to a clerical error. STAY AWAY! The customer service is USELESS! Our dogs needed vaccines and we couldn't get in to our local vet in time. When the records were emailed to us there was an error, stating that the Bordatella vaccine was not administered to one of our pets when it had been, I watched the vet give it to him. I called customer service to clear it up and they told me that they had no way of fixing the error and no way to contact the clinic so that they could fix the error. I would have to go to one of their mobile clinics to sort out the error myself in person. WHAT? It falls to the customer to fix the administrative medical error? I asked for a supervisor and was told they would do nothing to rectify the situation and they would not let me speak to anyone else, repeating that the only way for me to handle it was to go back in person, it was my choice if I chose not to return and rectify the record. We walked out with a $500 bill (including heartguard meds), and a record indicating that we could not board our dog and no way to fix it. UPDATE: I reached out to the medical side and was told the only way to fix the vaccine record was to make another appointment and have the vaccine re-administered to my dog. Incredible. The vet that handled our pets was wonderful with them and does not deserve one star, I would see him again, but will never return to vetco; petco is out now too.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
This is an introduction to Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located at 1919 Boston Post Rd Suite 230, Guilford, CT 06437, USA. Operating under the platform category of a Pet Hospital, specifically focusing on vaccination services, Vetco can be reached at (203) 204-0002 or via mobile at +1 203-204-0002. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview based on recent customer experiences shared online.
While the provided information does not describe the clinic's environment directly, the customer reviews offer insights into the service and administrative aspects of this Pet Hospital. It's important for potential users to consider these experiences when evaluating Vetco Vaccination Clinic for their pet care needs.
Based on the available reviews, there appear to be significant concerns regarding the administrative processes and customer service at Vetco Vaccination Clinic. One customer reported being told to "DOUBLE the vaccine due to a clerical error," advising others to "STAY AWAY!" This raises a serious concern about potential errors in administering medical treatments to pets.
Another detailed review outlines issues with a Bordatella vaccine record. Despite witnessing the vet administer the vaccine, the customer's emailed records incorrectly stated that it was not given to one of their dogs. Attempts to rectify this error through customer service were reportedly futile. The customer stated that they were informed that customer service had "no way of fixing the error and no way to contact the clinic" directly. The proposed solution from customer service was for the customer to visit one of their mobile clinics in person to resolve the administrative mistake. The reviewer expressed frustration that the onus was on them to correct a medical error and reported that a supervisor refused to help, insisting on the in-person visit as the only solution. This resulted in the customer leaving with a $500 bill (including heartworm medication) and an inaccurate record that would prevent them from boarding their dog, with no immediate way to fix it.
An update from the same customer indicated that contacting the "medical side" led to the suggestion that the only way to correct the vaccine record was to schedule another appointment and have the vaccine re-administered. This proposed solution highlights a lack of efficient internal communication and potentially unnecessary costs and stress for the pet owner and the animal.
Despite these significant administrative and customer service issues, one reviewer did commend the veterinarian who handled their pets, describing them as "wonderful" and stating they would see that vet again. However, this positive feedback about the individual veterinarian was overshadowed by the negative experience with Vetco's overall service and administrative handling, leading the customer to state they would "never return to vetco."
Adding to the concerns, another customer reported arriving for a scheduled vaccine appointment in Guilford only to find no one there. They were informed by a Petco worker that the Vetco team had left much earlier than the appointment time, leading to significant dissatisfaction.
In summary, based on the recent customer reviews, potential local users of Vetco Vaccination Clinic may want to be aware of the following points:
- Reports of clerical errors leading to potentially incorrect medical advice (e.g., being told to double a vaccine).
- Experiences of "USELESS" customer service.
- Difficulty in rectifying administrative errors in pet records.
- A requirement for customers to personally resolve errors, even if they are administrative.
- Instances of unattended clinics during scheduled appointment times.
- While some customers found individual veterinarians to be good, the overall experience with Vetco's administration and customer service appears to be problematic for others.
Given these publicly shared experiences, it is crucial for local pet owners considering Vetco Vaccination Clinic for their pet's vaccination needs to weigh these potential drawbacks against any perceived benefits, such as convenience or potentially lower costs (though this is not explicitly stated or supported by positive comments in the provided reviews).
Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided text. The focus of the recent feedback is predominantly on negative experiences related to administrative errors and customer service.
For local users in Guilford, CT, while Vetco Vaccination Clinic at 1919 Boston Post Rd Suite 230 offers vaccination services, it is strongly recommended to consider the recent customer feedback regarding administrative issues and customer service before making a decision. The reported difficulties in resolving errors and the instance of an unattended clinic at a scheduled appointment time are factors that potential clients should be aware of. While one reviewer praised the veterinarian, the overall sentiment in the provided reviews raises concerns about the reliability and administrative efficiency of this particular Pet Hospital location.
