Came and got our doggy chipped great staff especially Rachel, overall a great experience!

They took good care of my cat right away. They were all very gentle with her and professional. They were upfront about the cost of services before performing anything and asking my permission to proceed with any treatments. I would recommend this vet.

This facility was prompt timely, professional, very clean, very heartwarming and carefully listening to my concerns for my family member, although this was my first time there the doctor made it very clear to me on exactly the procedures he would take the precautions he would take and what to look for in explaining to me what I needed to know. He also offered information that I wasn't informed about on my searches for what was possibly wrong with my poor baby. The staff was very friendly and I will extend a five-star promotion to my friends on where they can take their family member. Thank you, Halley's comet.

Worst vet tech I have ever had the displeasure of meeting works at this Huntington Beach location. It was extremely concerning when we have to give her our cat for treatment when she treated us so rudely. Did not make me want to trust her with our cat. Only went here because it was the only one with an Appointment for today and wow was I surprised by the treatment I received. The vet tech was extremely rude right when we started giving her info about our cat and which phone number to use for our cat’s records. Very belittling when providing feedback instead of professional. The Dr. was good and gave the info he needed to give in a professional manner and straight to the heart of the issue for why we were bringing our cat in to the vet today but the vet tech’s attitude was horrible. She’s stressing out people who might already come in concerned for their pet and acting like we’re not doing good enough. Please act professional and don’t use phrases like “for funsies.” I did not come to the vet and to end up paying a $400 bill “for funsies.” We are doing the best we can for our pet and want her to be healthy and live a long life. I welcome feedback and expertise when it’s not said with attitude or judgment or belittling, and instead said with respect and professionalism. She acted like we don’t take care of our pet when we are literally at the vet trying to get help for something we don’t know the cause of. The doctor did a good job to help treat our cat’s potential UTI. The vet tech just had a terrible attitude when we are just there to help our pet and willing to do whatever necessary to help. I would not come back to this particular vetco due to my experience with the terrible vet tech. There are far better vetcos than this one that is located in Huntington Beach. There’s other places that know how to treat both the owner and pet with respect while also providing their knowledge in a respectful manner that really makes you feel like you can trust them with the care and handling of your pets. The vet tech just made us anxious on a day we were already concerned for our cat. Really terrible experience, I hope they implement changes to treat customers with respect.

wow i have no words,. i was just there and they charged me 110.00 for an anal gland expression, apparently they charged 55.00 for the anal glands and 55.00 for the "tech fee" I am still in shock. I called around and Seacliff animal hospital, who is considered pretty expensive by anyones standards said they charge 38.00 for anal glands and they do not charge extra for the tech. I also called love animal hosp and they charge 35.00 and no extra fee for a tech. i called Huntington Beach vet hospital and they charge 35.00 too, no extra tech fee..... I did pay it today but i will never go back - i am also taking my dog Summer to a different vet going forward - super disappointed and i really feel taken advantaged of

I have gone to Petco a few times now for my cats and always receive the best service. Nice staff and doctors. They take the time to answer all your questions and provide information. Very thorough.

Please bring your pets to vetco total care, they are the sweetest here and the manager is always so helpful. They always take care of my dog and are always so gentle with him. I definitely would give this location more stars if I could. The staff is super knowledgeable about everything and the doctor's know what they're doing. Thank you Vetco HB
