Extremely friendly staff. Roe at the front desk was so sweet and inviting as soon as I walked in I felt comfortable. I wish I remembered the medical assistant’s name but she had glasses and tattoos and she was also very kind and sweet. Dr. Cimetta was also very friendly and reassuring. They all gave my kitten so much love. My kitten is my first pet as an adult and this was my first time visiting any veterinary office besides a mobile clinic and it was a great experience all together. I would definitely return!

Went there for an emergency exam for my baby cat since she had been experiencing digestive problems. The vet tech who was supposed to help us had a lack of empathy and welcoming to my baby cat. Asked for her name, and she said not to worry about it. She had short hair with pink highlights and big build. I explained to her our situation and told her the kitty was still a baby and she was really scared. The lady laughed only... She knew my cat was scared and still forced her to take the exam fast by grabbing her by her back, not the neck. When her little neck cracked, I was so nervous, too. The doctor eventually came into the room, and she proceeded to do a rectum exam.. I understand the cats can feel discomfort and may be hurt during this procedure, but my baby cat was bleeding and screaming in pain I asked the doctor if it was normal, and she just gave me a tissue while she continued bleeding. This whole appointment could've had gone in many different ways to not hurt the cat, but I think they were just rushed and did not care about my cat at all. The lack of professionalism and empathy was immense. The only one who was sweet enough to check on the cat was the billing lady. I recommend not going to these big corporate vets and instead a small clinic. You'll probably pay the same 250$ I paid without having to traumatized your cat. Mind you, after this appointment, my cat continued to bleed for 3 days straight. Till I took her to another small clinic. Here I leave you a picture of my baby cat crying as proof these 2 ladies need to either be fired or retrained.

The vet tech and the receptionist was super sweet and put me and my pup and at ease. My dog has severe anxiety and I took her to see if she had an ear infection. The vet tech came in to try to get a swab of her ear and my dog was moving her head a bit so she couldn’t get a good swab, so she had the doctor come in to help. Once the doctor came in, she was extremely rough and rude. Called my dog a problem, was condescending, made us feel like we were bad dog owners, cursed in front of my 9 year old son, and refused to examine her. Save your time and money and do not take your pet here.

I had a terrible experience at Vetco today. I had a confirmed appointment for 10:45 AM, but when I arrived, they incorrectly told me my appointment was at 11:15. After checking, they realized I was right and that my appointment was indeed at 10:45. The staff member assured me they would get us in soon—but that never happened. By 11:30, we were still waiting, and then she suddenly claimed our appointment had been pushed to 11:45. So first, they admitted their mistake, promised to take us in, and then completely changed the story. This level of disorganization and dishonesty is unacceptable. The customer service was awful, and their scheduling system is clearly a mess. We ended up walking out. I would not recommend Vetco to anyone who values their time and expects basic professionalism.

Petco veterinary is excellent at the Baldwin store. They took good care of my brand new pup and advised me on what I need to do. Rosie will see them again in one month for her next shot. Both the vet and the assistant were very kind. I look Forward to my next visit.
