Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital

I was told on Friday 3/21/25 that I could pick up my dog’s medication on Saturday 3/22/25 anytime from 8am-6pm. When I arrived at the store this morning, around 9am, they were completely closed. Mind you, I have to drive almost an hour to this location so that was basically 2 hours WASTED driving on one of my only two days off. I work 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday and was told by their district manager that this location is no longer open on weekends. Not only has my time been wasted, my dog also now has to go 2 more weeks feeling AWFUL until I can get her into Banfield. The only bright side is that I know Banfield will actually take care of her, even if it means spending a little more money. Good riddance to this incompetent company.

Terrible place and terrible service. Priscilla has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen anyone have in customer service. This company should be ashamed to have such a terrible person working the front. I called in advance then scheduled my appointment online and after driving 30 minutes I arrive and they tell me they cannot see my dog. Waste of time. Very unprofessional. Dustin (not sure what he does) inserted himself into the conversation very unhelpful as well. Please don’t come to this place!

Left this place a 5 star review last year… idk what happened. Made a reservation online to get his vaccines and got 2 confirmation text, came inside and was told my spot was given away because I didn’t call and confirm, literally drove in traffic for an hour and wasted half of my day off. Where does it say to call and confirm anywhere in the text?!? Now I can’t get my dog groomed Thursday, literally was using my only 2 days off to take care of this dog. Priscilla is horrible btw.

Dr. Kinnin and Monica were so helpful and caring with my sweet baby. I came in to have my cat evaluated for a UTI and they took care of her with antibiotics. They both showed genuine compassion towards me and my pet and I would highly recommend coming to this location due to their caring staff members. I will definitely return should I need anything in the future.

I don’t normally write reviews but my experience at this location is absolutely unprofessional and down right wrong. Look at the other reviews to this place. I visited this locations pet hospital on March 1st, 2025. My dog was sick and needed immediate attention. The vet made it seem like an emergent situation to get tests done and made me spend $330 on various tests. He informed me NOT to take my pet to the emergency room because they would do the same tests. The vet also informed me that we would have our results by Tuesday, March 4th. He did not want to give my dog antibiotics. After our screen, it was identified that my pet may have a kidney infection, kidney damage, or a UTI, or sepsis. Not once did anyone give me a call to update me. Not once did they pick up the phone after the 9 times I called for an update. I had to call their corporate just to figure out that the earliest I’ll receive an update will be March 7th. You’re telling me that you ran all these tests and made it seem like an urgent matter and you want me to wait a week for results? They DO NOT care about your pet. I will no longer go to Vetco. Please read the reviews from other people because it is accurate.
