Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital

We appreciate Vetco for being our primary provider for the pups health. With one of the pups having a grade 2 heart murmur and both having gingivitis it’s important to have a vet you can go to, trust to take care of your pets and genuinely gives them advice to live a long healthy life!

I will say that the staff at this location are generally very kind. However I had 2 issues. The vet was very vague regarding test results and diagnosis. I ended up seeking a second opinion because the vet was so vague and confusing when reporting results. Second and more importantly, no one will pick up the phone or answer your calls. Every time I call I am connected to a call center employee who can not help. The answer is always "I couldn't get in contact with the vet, they will call you back.". Also, I left a note THREE TIMES WITH THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE, for the vet to text or email me instead of calling. They never emailed me, still just called when I was at work and couldn't answer. I just paid $600 for an xray and now I can not access the results because they take so long to get back. It's infuriating and I do not recommend this vet to anyone. Go to a better office where they will actually pick up the phone.

I would love to tell you about my experience here, but I never made it past having an appointment. They canceled on me multiple times for my dog’s vaccines, sending the cancellation day of!! When I called customer service, they said it was probably a staffing issue. My dog’s vaccines ended up lapsing because of the inability of Vetco to properly staff the clinic.

It was amazing! They explained everything our dog needed. The doctor, Mr Ortiz was a great doctor who helped my dog.

The staff is friendly and helpful if you're ever able to get through to them. Have had 2 separate concerns I've needed to call about and can only get as far as the scheduling call center. Makes it really difficult to have faith in their care when I can't get a return phone call with actual information besides "oh call us back!" And then no one picks up the phone. Tech Joey is very nice and caring, but overall my experience with this vet has been incredibly frustrating and I can't recommend.
