Subject: Feedback on My Experience at Chula Vista Vet Clinic Dear [Chula Vista Vet Clinic Management], I wanted to share my recent experience at your Chula Vista location, as I believe it’s important for improving customer service. Unfortunately, based on my visit, I would not recommend this clinic to new patients due to the unprofessional attitude of the receptionist I encountered yesterday. From the moment I arrived, I found the receptionist to be unwelcoming, unfriendly, and lacking in professionalism. When I asked if there were any forms I needed to fill out as a new patient, she responded rudely with a simple “no” instead of providing any guidance. Despite this, I remained patient and waited for my appointment. Later, I attempted to weigh my pet on the scale, but it wasn’t displaying any numbers. When I inquired about it, she responded in an abrupt and dismissive manner, saying it wasn’t turned on. When I politely asked for assistance, she rudely told me to “just wait,” rather than offering any immediate help. Due to this unpleasant experience, I ultimately decided to cancel my appointment, even though it was a free new patient visit. I would rather pay for veterinary care at a clinic with professional and courteous staff than deal with such treatment. I strongly recommend that management provide additional training for this receptionist to ensure she treats new and existing patients with kindness and professionalism. A welcoming and respectful attitude is crucial in a veterinary clinic, where pet owners seek care for their beloved animals. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to see improvements in the future. Best regards, Caroline

After calling them in advance to let them know about a 10 min late arrival and arriving exactly 10 min late and the girl on the telephone told us that would be no problem and the worst case we’d need to wait for a little bit if there was someone there before us then that receptionist guy with a sassy attitude told me that unfortunately they can’t help us due the time and we’d need to reschedule. I’m no longer coming here!!! Went there all the way from Ocean Beach and for what? No consideration for the customers at all Not mentioning the same guy told us he texted us saying it all which he never did

I love Dr. Elliott and her techs. But the Saturday team must be the B team. Called 3 times to confirm picking up meds for my pet's UTI, which I was informed the Friday before. I let the vet know Friday I will be in Saturday for the meds. Called two times that morning that I would be there and then received a text confirming the time to come in. I get there no one is at the front desk. Press the button, wait five minutes and someone comes out. I let them know what and my pets name. They take 10 minutes and come back and said they are all out of meds and I would need to fill it at Costco. I was upset and asked why I was not told this when I confirmed. Anyway I let them know I would take the prescription and 10.minutes later he comes back out and says the doctor can not write a prescription because this dea number does not match. I did lose it here. they did not have any solution and I did yell. I regret that but 3 calls and they like not have told me that? I was told to leave and I scheduled a same day visit at another vet and have to run all the tests again. Pissed to say the least

Extremely rude store manager. I took my dog to our appointment at 10:15. I waited for 45 mins until a lady came in. She touched and played with my dog. She asked if I have any complaints and I said no. Afterwards the lady came in with a almost $300 quote with the shots for my dog. I was already upset from the long wait. I refused the service. Then the store manager came and told me even I don’t want anything I need to pay$70 for the visit, even the lady just came in for 3 mins. It’s ridiculous and I am very upset. The manager was extremely rude.

Terrible staff, no knowledge at all. Follow up skills are unreal when they need you to confirm your first FULL name, and a shortened named won't do. Also, they told me they aren't a full service vet so I just to take a stool sample to another one down the street. Then I get told whoever I spoke to was wrong. Just don't bring your pet here unless you love being frustrated . Updated, since they changed their business name I'm adding the other review too...Called for a vaccine appt 3 days later, got confirmation call the next day, then got confirmation texts; they have overconfirmed a vaccine appt to the Nth degree. Worst part is this - on the first call for confirmation they ask every possible question, just to confirm the appointment. When I gave my full first name, apparently I couldn't be found in the appointment bc it is my shortened first name. I told the person after 5 minutes "I'll just create a new appt or profile bc how is it missing".. It wasn't. Why does my vaccine appt need my EXACT first name just to confirm? Ridiculous
