Horrendous people who care not a whit for our pets. I am disabled & cannot drive or manage my front steps and called them early Thursday to tell them my cat was experiencing toxicity from topicalflea preventive meds. I gave them all of the details & contact info. When they did not respond by Friday afternoon, I left another message. Still nothing on Monday & I told them my cat was much worse. Again no response & I called on Wednesday & begged them to please call me. I am homebound & they were my only option but, as I write this, they have never had either the compassion or the courtesy to call me back. My cat died because THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE! If you love your Furbaby, avoid these charlatans at all cost. If this is their response to a desperate pet parent in dire need, one can only imagine how they treat our voiceless pets

Welcome to Vet on Wheels LLC
Vet on Wheels LLC, based in Montclair, NJ 07042, operates as a mobile Pet Hospital, offering veterinary services and potentially related goods for sale directly to pet owners in the comfort of their homes. This unique approach aims to provide convenience and reduce stress for pets who may experience anxiety when visiting a traditional veterinary clinic. For local users in Montclair and surrounding areas, understanding the services, features, and the experiences of other pet owners is crucial when considering Vet on Wheels LLC for their animal care needs. This introduction provides an objective overview based on publicly available customer reviews.
As a mobile veterinary service, Vet on Wheels LLC does not have a traditional clinic environment. Instead, the "environment" is essentially the pet owner's home, which can be a significant advantage for pets that are more comfortable and less stressed in familiar surroundings. This in-home service eliminates the need for travel, waiting rooms, and exposure to other potentially stressed animals, which can be particularly beneficial for senior pets, pets with mobility issues, or those with a history of anxiety during veterinary visits. The convenience of having a veterinarian come to your doorstep can also be a significant benefit for pet owners with busy schedules or those who have difficulty transporting their animals.
The services offered by a mobile Pet Hospital like Vet on Wheels LLC typically encompass a range of general veterinary care that can be effectively delivered in a home setting. Based on the positive customer review, Dr. Krausman, the veterinarian associated with Vet on Wheels LLC, provides services such as vaccinations. Mobile veterinary services often include wellness check-ups, routine vaccinations, parasite prevention, microchipping, minor illness care, and end-of-life care (euthanasia) in the pet's home. It is reasonable to assume that Vet on Wheels LLC offers some or all of these services, providing essential veterinary care without the need for a clinic visit. The positive review specifically highlights Dr. Krausman's ability to handle an aggressive cat with patience and successfully administer necessary vaccinations, indicating experience and skill in managing challenging animal behaviors.
A primary feature of Vet on Wheels LLC is its mobile nature, offering unparalleled convenience for pet owners. This eliminates the stress of transporting pets, especially those who are anxious or physically limited. Another potential feature, suggested by the positive review, is the personalized attention and the ability to address a pet's specific behavioral challenges in a familiar environment. Dr. Krausman's patience and ease in handling an aggressive cat indicate a veterinarian experienced in adapting their approach to the individual needs of the animal. The reviewer also points out that while the service might be more expensive than a traditional clinic, the added cost reflects the convenience and comfort provided to the pet in their own home.
However, it is crucial to consider the negative review, which presents a starkly contrasting experience. This reviewer described "horrendous people who care not a whit for our pets," detailing a situation where they repeatedly contacted Vet on Wheels LLC over several days regarding their cat experiencing toxicity from flea medication. Despite multiple messages and escalating urgency due to the cat's worsening condition, the reviewer alleged that they never received a call back. Tragically, the reviewer's cat died, and they attributed this loss to the alleged lack of response and care from Vet on Wheels LLC. This review raises serious concerns about the responsiveness and level of care provided in certain situations. It suggests a potential lack of communication and follow-up, which can have severe consequences for pets in need of timely medical attention.
Given the significant disparity between the two reviews, local users should approach Vet on Wheels LLC with caution and consider both perspectives. The positive review highlights the convenience and Dr. Krausman's skill in handling animals, particularly those with behavioral issues during veterinary procedures. However, the negative review raises critical concerns about the practice's responsiveness and apparent lack of urgency in a potentially life-threatening situation. It is important to note that this is only one negative experience reported, but its severity cannot be ignored.
The provided information does not include any details about promotional offers or specific advantages beyond the convenience of mobile service. Potential clients may want to inquire directly about pricing for specific services and whether there are any introductory offers for new clients. Understanding the cost structure compared to traditional clinics and any additional fees for mobile services is essential for making an informed decision.
In conclusion, Vet on Wheels LLC offers a convenient mobile Pet Hospital service in Montclair, NJ, bringing veterinary care directly to your home. While one customer praised Dr. Krausman's experience and patient handling of a difficult cat, another reported a deeply negative experience involving a lack of response to a pet in urgent need, resulting in the pet's death. Local users considering Vet on Wheels LLC should carefully weigh these contrasting experiences. The convenience of mobile care can be a significant benefit, but it is crucial to ensure that the service is also reliable and responsive, especially in situations requiring prompt attention. Potential clients may want to seek additional reviews or testimonials and directly communicate their specific needs and concerns with Vet on Wheels LLC before entrusting them with their pet's care.

Aug 07, 2024 · Kierstan FendellLeaving this review because I know I relied heavily on these when selecting a mobile vet. I cannot thank Dr. Krausman and her assistant enough for the patience they had with my 4 year old cat. My cat turns very aggressive when it comes to getting any shots or even being with the vet, Dr. Krausman handled my cat with ease during his behavior and got the job done (and very well). Yes, this is a more expensive service than the vet but she is a mobile vet that comes to your home so you are also paying for the comfort your pet will be receiving in your own home. Dr Krausman is very obviously experienced at what she does and I cannot wait to use her again in the future.
Apr 15, 2024 · Christina DuranYes, it's not a cheap service, but she is coming to our home. Our dogs and cat love her and her techs. After being traumatized by a rough tech at our old vet, it's comforting for our 8 year old lab mix to be treated where she feels safe. Our critters get their shots, lab work, basic exams, and treatments in our living room from a caring, friendly vet, who is happy to answer any questions we may have without rushing us. Every tech accompanying her has been stellar.
