I went to the ER vet a few weeks ago with my cat and I was a mess after finding out I’d need to leave Ellie overnight, and even more of a mess finding out she has a mass and is on a very abbreviated timeline. Everyone was super compassionate, patient, and understanding - telling me all options and possibilities and assuring me that I know my cat best and whatever I decide for her is best. Dr. Wilson even texted me a picture of Ellie before her shift ended so I could see that she was doing okay. This felt above and beyond, and I’ve never been more excited to see a picture in my life. Dr. Gerhard was extremely patient with me on the phone while going over Ellie’s CT results - I won’t forget how empathetic she was and how honest and clear she was about Ellie’s prognosis. I truly felt like Ellie was the most important patient to her in that moment, and I’m sure she makes every single pet owner feel that way. Even just writing on the discharge papers how sweet Ellie was (when she is such a shy, scared cat) made me feel good and that she was in good hands while she was away from me. I was treated so kindly, and even though I didn’t get the outcome I hoped for, I couldn’t imagine better care for my cat.

My sweet pup was referred by our Vet to VCA for life threatening episodes of respiratory distress. I was so impressed by the care I received from Dr Charlotte Gerhard and her Team. Dr Gerhard was so thorough, attentive and compassionate. She clearly explained my pup’s newly diagnosed condition, the options for treatment and appropriate steps to take before proceeding with surgery. In fact, we were able to avoid extensive surgery. On follow-up, she was again so receptive, provided thorough information and clearly cared about my pup and I. I simply cannot say enough great things about this amazing Provider. Thank you so much Dr Gerhard!! ❤️🐾❤️

VCA Weymouth is wonderful and the prices are better than other vets. We were coming here for years, used the Care Club when our dog was a puppy, and the savings was substantial. Especially since it includes everything, including the neuter (or spay) and microchip. Foolishly, we went to another clinic at the recommendation of a friend and were charged way more and got the hard sell for everything from various blood work to flea meds to prescription food. We just came back to VCA for an emergency with our dog. We were greeted warmly, seen quickly and the issue was resolved, thank God, with an exam, some meds and a treatment plan for less than $300. Knowing folks who have paid $1000 elsewhere just to walk in the door with an emergency before their pet was even seen, this seems completely reasonable for an ER vet visit in my opinion. We’ll be enrolling again in the Care Club for adult dogs because it is a savings and lets you pay monthly for the vaccines and visits you’re going to go to anyway. Not sure if it still includes 1 ER visit, but it did a couple of years ago - would have saved us more. All of the vets we have seen at VCA are terrific, the vet techs are wonderful, they’re caring and compassionate, understanding and patient. I’ve seen them interact with others coming in with emergencies and they just know what they’re doing. If you’re on the fence, give them a try. Worst case, it’s not a fit for you and your pet… but I can’t imagine why, this is an excellent clinic!

I've been here many, many times with my pets and the staff is always wonderful and compassionate. All of the doctors and techs we've seen were fantastic and very caring. The facility is modern, clean, and comfortable. We used their boarding for my cat as well and I was really pleased with the setup for kitties--separate, quiet room with music, and outside of the cage time. It can be expensive but overall the experience with them has always been positive. Thanks for taking good care of our fur babies.

I had to bring my dog to the ER a couple of weeks ago and I am so glad I chose to bring him here. The staff saw him right when we arrived, kept us updated throughout the day, and thoroughly explained everything. The building itself is very clean as well. They even submitted a claim to our pet insurance company so that I would not have to worry about it. Special shoutout to Dr VK for being so great. Highly recommend!
