VCA Silver Lake Animal Hospital

While they weren't our primary vet. They were very kind in the process of saying goodbye to our sweet boy. The staff was as concerned for him as we were and did all they could to keep him comfortable, at 14 years old we were expecting it to come but not this soon and the kindness of the people here helped the process be a little less heartbreaking. Will be bringing our future pets here should we get any.

Yesterday I took my lil girl Maggie in to cross over. The Doctor was amazing and so was the staff. Over the last year, my Maggie spent a lot of time at Silver lake VCA so she was never nervous there. Everytime before her visit, id tell her she is going to see her friends. And that's what they have been to me and my Maggie.

I was visiting family from out of town and had an urgent matter arise with my elderly puppy. They were luckily able to get me in that same day. The staff were all so warm and gentle toward my dog. If I lived here, I would make them my regular vet!

This place is an amazing God send! I recently inherited my dad's cat. I've never had a cat only dogs so I wasn't too keen on how sneaky and nosey cats are😆 I was making Christmas presents with epoxy resin, which I do in my room because the cat always wants to be in my business! I did not notice her creep in and she ended up stepping on my stir stick, then God she didn't step in my project or it would of encased her foot! I didn't see her do it, I didn't even realize she was in the room! The next morning I noticed her kicking her back foot and not walking on it. When I noticed what had happened I freaked out, this was my dad's BFF, he passed and I let this happen?! I tried everything I could find online, it was terrifying to try and soak a sore paw in vinegar! I would of ended up in the hospital too, she was not having it! We tried trimming the fur to release the resin as it was only on the bottom of her paw thankfully, but nothing was working! I called her and they got her right in. Everyone was so kind, from the front desk to the techs to the vet, they were all very understanding and nice. I felt like a complete idiot bringing this cat in there like that but they didn't even flinch! They were so good they got the resin off her paw and she needed no pain medication or antibiotics! It blew my mind as I thought she was for sure gonna have skinned beans😬 but nope, not at all! The next day she was walking on all 4's like nothing happened! I couldn't be more pleased worth a service than I am with this clinic, they love what they do and it shows! She came out completely unscathed, other then looking like 1 paw belongs to a raccoon she's perfect👌🏻 I will only bring my beloved fur friends here, they are worth every penny plus! I really appreciate them not making me feel any worse then I already did. It was a really bad feeling seeing my dad's cat in this condition and knowing it was 100% my fault, it broke my heart! I highly, HIGHLY recommend this vet clinic, they really care about your pets and want the best for them. I can't ask for more than that!❤️

I just payed $129.00 to be told I need to spend another $300 for a lab and that i could also *possibly* just need another cat box. The people were nice. I guess. That's the only reason they got 2 stars. Other than that, yall suck. What a rip off.
