I brought my dog in for a small hotspot and was given a shampoo and mousse for $350. This didn’t work so I had to bring him back in a week later for another $350 for a different mousse that still isn’t working. I called to speak with a Dr instead of scheduling a third appointment for another hundreds of dollars, only to be told that Dr’s rotate facilities and my only option is to schedule another appointment and be seen by a third Dr. How can you assess the progress of an issue if you are having different Dr’s look each time? They are not interested in resolving the issue. Seems like they try to get you in this cycle of scheduling an appointment for every little thing. 3 doctors later, seen for a total of 10 minutes, and over $700 later and still no willingness to help treat a simple hot spot. Seems like a money pit.

Was a good experience up until my last visit in August. I did Blood work along with a few vaccines and a heartworm test. I signed up for care club so I would not have to pay the total all at once. I declined On getting the heart worm preventative medicine. I receive A phone call today stating they will have to repeat the test (which is $150) in order to get her on the preventative. So basically instead of telling me that at her last visit, they wanted to charge me again for it. Really disappointed as this seems like a money grab. If I had Known I would Have had to pay for the test again, I would Have went ahead and gotten the preventative at her last appointment! Animal care is already expensive enough as it is!! Taking my dog and money elsewhere.

My pup ripped her stitches less than 24 hours from her surgery at another facility. Blood everywhere! This team instantly made an urgent appt for her and handled the situation. From their excellent customer service to their overall candor, made me feel way less stressed, in such an highly stressful situation! I really appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you! Akyra is doing great! I will be going to this location for the rest of her care!

A Second Family I have been going to VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital for 18 years. The doctors there over the years have cared for our 6 dogs: 4 Westies; 1 Cairn Terrier; and 1 Norwich Terrier. So many skin issues; a torn ACL; upset tummies; and a few surgeries. The doctors and staff always greet us with a warm smile and genuinely seem happy to see us. They take care of our canine babies with gentle hands and careful, consistent medical practices, especially during Covid. They are so kind that we feel they’re a Second Family. I cannot put a price tag on their loving care and concern when one of our dogs died or had to be put down. It was always handled with such compassion, both for our dog and for us. Suffice it to say, their hearts were breaking along with ours. Earlier this year when our 14-year-old Norwich Terrier crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, we received such a thoughtful sympathy card signed by all the doctors and staff which included sweet remembrances of Lil Audrey. And then beautiful yellow tulips arrived. Every time I visit, the staff are so kind to come and say hello to me personally. It’s true you can’t choose your family. But I’m awfully glad I can choose my Second Family.
