I brought the family kitten in for the 1st time & received wonderful care. They were great about explaining the costs of each service, what had to be done @ that time as opposed to what could wait if that was too much to pay right then. Due to the vet diagnosing a heart murmur (he was rescued from a closing down cattery & is purebred so likely genetic), wanting to wait some time before attempting to neuter & I’m confident when it’s time they’ll do the best they can to ensure the safest outcome for our little guy.

  • Preventative and Wellness Care: This foundational aspect of veterinary medicine encompasses **routine annual physical examinations**, customized vaccination programs tailored to individual pet needs and risk factors, effective parasite prevention and control (including heartworm, flea, and tick medications), and valuable nutritional and weight management counseling. Proactive care is essential for early detection of health issues and maintaining long-term vitality.

I would have gone there without the coupon because of the glowing recommendation, but it was a nice bonus. I am so glad that I made that appointment. In over 15 years, I haven’t seen as much compassion and patience in a vet or vet technician as I did with Dr. Long and Kelsey. They were just as concerned as I was in making sure to get a baseline picture of my new girl’s health, as well as starting a regime to help in her anxiety and fear. Kelsey took her time in meeting Lolo and doing any procedures with her. I hope Dr. Long and Kelsey will be at this location throughout my new furbaby’s lifetime."
    • **Strong Recommendations and Trust:** The client chose the clinic due to a "glowing recommendation" from a neighbor, even without a coupon, indicating a robust positive reputation within the community.
    • **Exceptional Compassion and Patience (Dr. Long and Kelsey):** This is perhaps the most significant highlight. The client states they haven't seen "as much compassion and patience in a vet or vet technician as I did with Dr. Long and Kelsey" in over 15 years. This speaks to an extraordinary level of empathetic care.
    • **Personalized and Holistic Approach:** Their concern for getting a "baseline picture" and starting a "regime to help in her anxiety and fear" demonstrates a comprehensive and individualized approach to the pet's well-being, addressing both physical and behavioral health.
    • **Dedicated Staff Member (Kelsey):** Kelsey's willingness to "take her time in meeting Lolo and doing any procedures with her" shows a deep understanding of animal behavior and a commitment to minimizing stress, especially for a rescue with potential anxieties.
    • **Client Loyalty and Long-Term Commitment:** The profound hope that Dr. Long and Kelsey remain at the clinic "throughout my new furbaby’s lifetime" underscores immense satisfaction and a desire for a lasting partnership in pet care.
  • **Experienced and Cohesive Team:** The consistent positive mentions of both veterinarians (Dr. Long) and vet technicians (Kelsey) highlight a well-coordinated and highly effective team dedicated to patient and client satisfaction.

This was the worse unprofessional veterinarian I have ever encountered! The only people who were actually very nice were the receptionist and the assistant, we were put in the exam room, took a while to be seen then we talked about my dog, let them know my situation with him. The assistant asked her regular questions about his history and what not. The vet came into the room and asked me questions as well, told her that I didn’t have my dog because I gave him to a friend of mine whom I trusted with my fur child. I told was trying to tell her his history but for some reason she wasn’t wanting to hear what I had to say because she kept interrupting me with her “knowledge” of what I was not doing right for him, finally the tech came in with the invoice and I explained that I couldn’t afford what she was charging me but I could do half for her. She left the room to speak with the doctor and that’s when she barged in raising her voice and basically telling me that I can’t take care of my dog. I explained to her what my situation was and she wanted to compare her “problems” with mine. I told her that I was homeless at the time I gave my dog away and moved to Texas but had to come back to rescue my dog from a POS that reassured me that he was going to take care of him. Threatened me with animal control in which I replied to call them if she felt like she had to. Basically she said since I don’t have money I need to leave. I have been to other veterinary clinics and they ALWAYS come up with solutions for someone who lives basically paycheck to paycheck. God bless this lady because she was wrong for the way she treated me.

Zelda was our rescue we found tied up on the side of the road. The staff has always done great at making her feel safe and comfortable. Love the insurance plans, as they help us stay on top of her health care.

I really love how compassionate all of the employees here are. I decided to give them a try because I saw a coupon for a free examination. They got my kitty scheduled right away, the staff were all very kind. The big thing that stood out was the towels they have that are sprayed with natural pheromones. My poor baby cried the entire way but when the towel was put over her carrier upon arrival, she began calming down within a few minutes. She actually stopped crying. They were also really great about getting her health information from her previous veterinarian. No hassle. They made it all very easy and stress free. On top of all of that, they sent me home with a goodie bag with a month of flea medication, a litter scoop, a toy, wet food lid, etc. I felt very informed by the veterinarian. She took her time to explain things thoroughly. All around pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
