Every doctor and vet tech that I've met are all so extremely caring and thoughtful. They explain things well and are wonderful to the animals as well as their human parents. They have the ability to xray at this facility which was very nice. Although the read took a couple hours to come back, it was still a very good experience. Jasper is all fixed up and will live to eat another hair tie!

Dec 24, 2024 · Miguel NievesOur cat broke her paw at the beginning of February. I work at a tax firm, so my 20 YO son had to bring to all her visits. They offered to invoice me afterwards so we didn’t have to worry about immediate payments. They texted me frequently between visits to see how she was doing. Thursday at her last cast removal, they said she had cancer n should be put down asap (she rapidly declined over the last 2 weeks and I had alerted them). they ran tests n did an X-ray this last visit and didn’t charge us. My son wanted a second opinion, and vca got her medical records over to the specialist in less than two hours. They confirmed vca’s diagnosis. I called vca at 4pm Friday to schedule the euthanasia, they were booked solid Saturday but squeezed us in at 1130am. My son stayed in the room with our deceased cat well past closing time and they reassured me it was ok and he could stay as long as he wanted. This ordeal has been financially devastating, but I truly feel they have went above and beyond to support us and care for Mason. Their Easter bunny cast was legendary ❤️😭❤️
May 05, 2024 · Diane ValliereThank you for saving my dogs life. Ernie, my Wonderful, Playful, Active, 5 year old Labrador poodle, suddenly stopped eating -refused ALL food and ALL treats. We thought it might be his teeth. So we tried canned dog food - but no luck - he would not eat. He also became very Lethargic, and turned away from us - as if he did not recognize us. Thankfully when we called they gave us an appointment that night. We were so lucky Michelle was the Vet working that night. She opened 6 different cans of dog food and a jar of baby food. Ernie refused ALL. She did a complete exam. Although there was some tarter on his back molars, she knew there was something else wrong. Blood work was done. Results came back with elevated white blood cells - "probably" Leukemia. BUT, the results also showed Low Sodium and High Potassium. Michelle did not think Ernie had Leukemia, she thought he might have Addison's Disease. So we brought Ernie back in for another blood draw - then Ernie was given a shot (sorry I don't remember what it was) but after that shot another blood draw was done. Results came back the next day. Although, it was an unusual presentation of the disease - Ernie did have Addison's Disease. Michelle had treated another dog with Addison's Disease in the past, so she had experience with this disease. Addison's Disease is treated with one pill per day and one shot per month . In just a few days, Ernie was himself again. With this medication, Ernie's Life Expectancy is the same as if he did not have the disease. He will live a LONG Happy Life. Thank God it was not Leukemia. As we all know, the treatment and decisions we would have had to make for Leukemia are very very different from the treatment for Addison's Disease. We can never Thank Michelle enough for going above and beyond for our Ernie. For trusting her experience, knowledge, and gut feeling and not accepting the first "probably" diagnosis of Leukemia. I can only give 5 stars. But Michelle and staff deserve so much more than 5 stars for the care they provide.
