VCA Ormond Beach Animal Hospital

I recently found this place to take a new kitten to get her shots, not only were they very professional & super friendly, I very much enjoyed the atmosphere also. Fast forward a few months, one of my oldest cats, Aerial, was having a few issues, I took her to them as well. Unfortunately, I found out all in one visit that Aries had cancer and I was going to have to put her down 😞 they were absolutely amazing during the process and they handled everything with grace and dignity and even though it was one of the hardest moments of my life, they made it so much easier. They even took the time to send me a personal card, thank you Dr. Preeti and your staff very much for that. It means a lot. -Sasha

Unfortunately I have to edit this review. The antibiotics given to my dog, which I specifically told them he’s had and didn’t work and they re-prescribed it saying it would work this time didn’t. It’s been over a month of calling, texting, email with the same run around about different meds. Everyday they said they’d call back they didn’t, always a different story nobody cares or does what they say. Clearly my dogs infection they claimed he had isn’t a concern. Not happy at all the office staff is actually pretty terrible they are extremely unorganized and can’t get back to their clients. I have so many texts and phone calls about the same thing I can’t count. We won’t be returning to the VCA. I did like the vet but she hasn’t been there. The hospital manager seems to be the root of the issue as she did the same thing then explained she would reach out when the vet got back which wouldn’t be for another week that she failed to mention. ASK THE OTHER VET LIKE YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE DOING A MONTH AGO DUH. C’mon this was handled horribly smh. Honestly, this is the second best vet ive ever been to in my life. The care, the pricing, the staff WOW. Jessica in particular was such a sweetheart and you can tell she actually cared about the dog. They pet him loved on him. He was in heaven. I’m so so happy about my first experience. I literally called at 10:30 AM and they took me at 11 AM with no issue. I highly recommend this particular VCA and the veterinarian!! She was also one of the best I’ve ever experienced very very caring. Thank you so much, everyone.

I live in port Orange, but heard great things about this vet so figured I would try it. I’m so glad I did, the whole staff was so great- the receptionist Haley, the technician Sarah, the hospital manager Allie, and Dr. Nelson. Dr. Nelson was so thorough and compassionate, I won’t go anywhere else, they have made a client for life!

We have taken our cat Milton twice now and we are so pleased with the staff and how caring they are with our furry baby! Chris is exceptionally personable, caring, so good with cats. We had the hardest time trying to give Milton his medicine and he did it for us with ease. This will forever be our animal hospital! Thank you so much for all you guys do.-Travis and Paula E.
