Mar 26, 2025 · Jennifer RomeroWe recently had to lay our sweet boy Achilles to rest. During this most difficult time, I’ve never felt more love and compassion for both my sweet kitty and for my daughters and myself. I’m so grateful for the staff here and how much comfort I felt. I even received a sympathy card in the mail. Thank you so much for all you did. I’m sorry I don’t remember your names, but just know we are so thankful. ❤️😭❤️
Mar 10, 2025 · Alisha JohnsonWe started going here 1 year ago when we moved here from Sandy . We have 5 dogs between all of our families. ( all live at various homes ) . 3 of which go here or did! We called about euthanasia for one of those pets , a 14 years old westie. And the front office staff was very rude. Telling me and almost pushing us into quality of life and wanting us to agree to a physical. We have had several westies and saw that this furbaby was in pain and dying . He was passing blood, couldn't keep anything down and having seizures. We all knew it was time. We have NEVER had a vets office treat us with such disregard and making us feel like we weren't doing the right thing. Even telling me that no matter where we went they would require a physical. And that was their policy. That simply isn't true especially since he was up to date on shots and physicals. I hung up and called our previous vet and it was night and day difference especially once they heard what was happening with the dog. They never made us feel like we were doing the wrong thing. I felt like we were being manipulated by VCA into a physical and that only after they would decide if OUR dog would be euthanized! So basically if this dog was sick enough to be euthanized, we would of spent money on a physical AND the euthanasia. This while dealing with the grief of losing a member of our family I called and spoke to Dr Mont to issue a concern and complaint and was very disappointed at her response. Her apology was more of a canned response and lacked compassion for not only the loss of a pet by how I was treated. Please don't get caught up in " policies " when it comes to your furbabies. We have known them their whole life and it shouldnt be up to a " stranger " to make those decisions with regard to their life. We were able to say a peaceful and loving goodbye to our furbaby without putting him though blood tests or being prodded. My husband and I will not be returning and we are sharing so that others don't have to experience what we did and a very heartbreaking time of our life.
Jan 03, 2025 · Julie SlackUPDATE, they have misdiagnosed pets just these last few month's over 30 plus died because of their uneducated staff. If want your dog to die, don't go here. This is a horrible place. They did nothing on over three visits, and my dog is still not good. Which you get charged for every time, such a scam here. They won't give you a refund or look at your dog again either if you question there poor service. Then they give a joke of a response like the care. Don't be fooled they are a joke and should be put out of business. If you want professional vet care go here Mountain West Veterinary Specialists
Feb 08, 2025 · Jerrod BonacciDr. Mott is my hero. I've been going to this VCA since I moved a few years ago. All the staff is so so kind with all my relentless questions to keep my fur babies healthy. Recently, my angel, Peaches, was just diagnosed with diabetes and Dr. Mott has made the scary process of getting Peaches insulin regulated and getting comfortable with everything so easy. I've also done multiple teeth cleanings here and I'm always nervous about those since my dogs have to be put under to do it, but it's always gone so smoothly and quickly. They take great care of my girls here! Dog tax:
